I am looking to sell one on my website & want to know the process of transfer the website to the new owner, does anyone know?
This is confusing to me…
I would have thought the website content could be transferred to a site hosted elsewhere within or outside of WA:
I.e.
backup the web content,
transfer the domain name to new owner,
new owner gets hosting of their own at WA or elsewhere and points at new dns,
then upload backup to new host.
Would that work?
:-)
Richard
No, that is not allowed. Participation in this environment, although it is a business, is non-transferable. You can transfer your domain name to another; however, the content of your website cannot transferred.
Can I sell a wealthy affiliate website I built here?

Hi
You can list it via various marketplaces one as such is Flippa dot com -
Once ready to transfer, you may collect the EPP authorization code to enable change registrars.
Or if site has content, your buyer can get support from their host how to migrate site to the new servers.

Site manager is down, we currently do not have the ability to see our site or edit them.
Can the Wealthy Affiliate server admins look at why the system is down?
Hey Shane,
Is it working for you yet? I just checked on my end and everything is fine.
If you're still struggling, try everything at your end like emptying caches, rebooting, etc. and if still no luck, you should contact site support.
Cheers,
Suzanne

I have question before I setup a shopify store, I have been with WA for over 2 years and love it but was wondering if my new venture which is shopify can be setup and linked to
Hey Shane,
This MIGHT be a better question to send to either Carson in a private message... or to SiteSupport.
Personally, I would reach out to Carson in a PM.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/message/carson
...and, for this issue, please click on Report Content, so that you receive a blank textbox that will be clearly labeled with "Contact Kyle or Carson", and this way your message will be sent to Carson's inbox.
Hope you find this helpful.

If I have a client that I am maikg a website for then should I host it in WA or through an outside resource such as bluehost or hostgator?
Any suggestions?
Hey Shane,
Here's a post I created some years ago now (and still applies!) that answers this very question: http://www.eparrs.com/blog/should-you-use-international-or-local-hosting-servers-benefits-of-hosting-your-website-local/
I have a paying client that I host here but I'm going to move it. According to the uptime report I get, the site goes down briefly every day! I've had no success with support either. I host my main site with Bluehost. Nothing against WA but to me that's not acceptable to go offline regularly.
Good to know, I never thought about checking to see if my sites here where going done periodically.
Thanks for the help,
Shane
How come that you can use uptime robot? They blocked it a few months ago, and all other tools. I did not check it this can be used again.
So, I took a peek at one of your sites listed on your profile. Are those Divi themes? either way, well-designed sites my friend.
If they are Divi then I would like to share some knowledge with each of us if you would like.
Uptime and uptime robot are not the same. I tried the uptime robot first and couldn't get it to work.
Shane- the theme for the first site listed is Optimizer Pro. I also use Virtue Premium. I Love Optimizer. $200 for unlimited sites.
Looks great, similar to Divi layouts but maybe more features. I always say that we get what we pay for...quality wise anyway
I've been pretty happy with it. The developers have been responsive helping with a few minor issues.

Evening WA,
I am asking if anyone else is having website loading speed issues due to the server response time here at WA?
I say this because I have been working on
From what Vitaliy said, I gather it´s just a matter of time till all is fixed, so will patiently wait for that.
This is a problem of the WA server responding from a user entering your website URL not a WA site thing.
It still took the WA servers 2 complete seconds to respond when a user enters your URL.
Try Pingdom site speed test on your site then look at the wait time at the bottom....it is waiting on the WA servers.
All of my sites do this, it has done for a while. I do not know why other than the location of the WA servers. If they are located in Canada then that very well be the issue although I even tried using a CDN
Never knew location of server could be so important. Have you asked site support about this?
And what is a CDN?
A content delivery network (CDN) is a system of distributed servers (network) that deliver webpages and other Web content to a user based on the geographic locations of the user, the origin of the webpage and a content delivery server.
In other words, they use website Caching on their end to speed up the process however they do still wake on the request to load for the static server that we are using.
This is why I ask about the WA servers and does anyone else see this lag or waiting period.
Thanks,
Shane
I see this intermittently, not just today. Sometimes a site will fail to load at all on first attempt.
Yeah I'm having a slow load time on my site today as well Shane, may be a slight down time, but they always fix this.
I have also been working on speed issues. Often get server errors & server wait times are high on Pingdom
I think somethings going on. WA pages are loading slow, pictures aren't loading.
I tried to watch a video but couldn't.
No, in WA. I'm trying to work on lessons in bootcamp now.
It did seem a bit slow earlier when I was replying to comments on my website.
