Supporting people with PLC training
Do you think that having a website to help people learn programmable control logic is helpful if all it is for to truly to aid people in support and no plans to monetize it?
See, this is my current career and I feel that it will help people that are in this field move from standard pay to well over 6 figures, I will say that PLC programming is not a beginners job but if they happen to be in that field already or interested in it then this website site is helpful....oh...I forgot, the site's name is OnlinePLCSupport.com
Feel free to pass this on to any maintenance tech or electrical person looking to get better in their current career.
I truly make no money from this site and it is merely for paying it forward.
Thanks,
Shane

I had a quick look at your site. You use the Rockwell RSLogix 5000. We use the Siemems S7.
Nice site you have!
In the late 80s and early 90s I was a software engineer at DuPont in New Orleans period part of my job was to teach recent University graduates in engineering how to work with a PLC. For me it was a snap but for some of the engineers it took a few weeks to grasp it. The older ones in binary were the most difficult.
You will generally get a higher quality of visitor. Although it is a relatively narrow audience.
You can still make some money off it by directing your students to purchase from an affiliate site, should these exist for PLCs. You can even suggest the purchase of documentation about these products.
Things are going well, sort of shifted my efforts as life got a little busy but still hanging in there. How are you doing?
