Be Careful On Social Media
As the training says do, I made a Facebook page and a fan page for my sites.
We it appears that I have gotten one of our very own Wealthy Affiliate members who has been here for what they say is 4 years now upset.
To put things in a short and sweet talk, I have a fan page and I boost my post which say nothing negative at all about anything, they are just post that boost a post of link to my site which is fine for everyone else on the internet except for one of our very own.
This person started by talking against my post and dis agreeing with it which is fine, I tried to use the negative feedback in a positive manner but then later that day they started back again.
This time a little more negative so I replied back with an even stringer message saying that I was happy for them in there success.
Now we are on day three, where this person and I am not going to say names but they know exactly who they are, will not stop trying to put my site on blast.
Look, in the best way I can put it to everyone....we are a community that helps one another and we should act as such so putting negative post on someone's Facebook fan page is not cool.
Especially for a 4 year seasoned person from Wealthy Affiliate.
If you have promoted Wealthy Affiliate and found success then I am happy for you but don't block anyone else from perusing success in something else when honestly Wealthy Affiliate promoting is saturated with people trying to say the same message.
I like it here but I will not just sit back and be blasted on social media by a so called successful 4 year member of Wealthy Affiliate.
I hope that we all agree that we are supposed to be supportive to each other and if you have a problem with something that is done or said, social media is not the place to hurt someone's website, we are both members of Wealthy Affiliate so PM me or something.
Please act like an adult when you speak on the internet, it hurts you, me and Wealthy Affiliate.

I completely agree with you Shane, I think it is very pathetic and sad that someone feels so insecure that they have to attack you in a public forum.
It is not what one would expect from anyone at Wealthy Affiliate, where the majority of us are here to learn, and to help and support other members.
As you say. if someone has a beef with you, a PM is the only place where it should be voiced.
I hope you will reject any further negative comments from this person, you are totally within your rights to do so.
I know that you will not let this person get in the way of building you site in your own way and I wish you every success :)
Maybe there jealous because you will have more success than they currently have. I would say keep doing what your doing Shane and don't let the negative people bring you down or get to you. That might be there plan to see how well you deal with the negativity to prepare you for what lies ahead because let's remember one thing outside of wealthy affiliate not everyone is the same! Thanks for sharing and keep your head up one person is not going to ruin all the hard work you have done!
I don't know what to think about this one. On a positive note you know something is working if they are that concerned about your progress. If I were you I would keep it up.
Thank you for the encouraging words, I guess you are right. I guess any comments can be looked at as a positive if you look at it right.
Shane, it is so very sad that such petty, small minded people try to blight our lives through social media. After reading Williams comment I must admit that he seems to have some good ideas.

I agree, William has some great points and I will have to implement them but I read before that some of the most successful businesses know how to turn a negative situation into a positive one.
It was a strong article that made me think and after reading the case studies that they did it was worth a shot but I guess we can't win them all.
I am still going to stay positive and bring a good value added message in whatever I do because in the end, that is what success equates to.
Money comes and money goes but a string sense of self awareness and helping others is the way to true success.

You get that sometimes Shane .. I have a different but similar problem (not with a person on WA) .. It is just something I have to live with and "hide" the comments. You could also PM them here or on FB and advise you will "name and shame" on WA. Cheers, William.

I was trying to take the high road and be the bigger person, I was truly surprised that someone of 4 years in Wealthy Affiliate would do such a thing.
I felt it best to put out an awareness the WA community being that I have tried to talk to this person and haven't seemed to get anywhere.
I guess success does change people, my approach is to be humble but to also be aware.

Don't be discouraged Shane, but I feel sorry that such an unfortunate incident happened. Keep going Shane, there will be many people also appreciating what you are doing. Time will tell the quality of your work.
