I enabled commenting on all of my web pages, but, the option to comment does not show up on the web pages. I don't know why. It seems to be working for everyone else, but me .
Yes . . . I am. My pages don't show the comment option, even though I have enabled it . . . *Sigh*
It might be a theme thing. A lot of themes don't let you do comments on pages. I tried to do that on one of my sites as well, but I don't think I was ever successful either.
Ok . . . So, I got some comments on my posts. Will I lose those comments if I change my theme, now?
As long as you are just using the default approaches for commenting (i.e not a plugin like Disqus), then you should keep your comments.
I don't know specifically which themes allow comments on posts though, so you might need to do some shopping around.

Both. I see that your post has the comment section while your pages don’t. What theme do you use?
I’m not sure if there’s any other option to make the comment box appear but the way I see it, it’s your theme that doesn’t allow it. I may be wrong but you can create a support ticket. Let’s see what the others have to say about this.

Why is the comments option not showing on my pages?

Click the quick edit option in the pages you want to have comments then you will see the allow comments option. Tick that box and update. Go back to your page and you will see your comment box. No need to change your theme. Hope this helps :)

Previously I am using 1 theme Forest with tag saying threaded comments and all my comments was shown up. After I changed to Fortune theme, the tag also hv threaded comments but it wouldn't show up. Any idea why? All discussion and comments were ticked.
