Progress report or lack therof

well no sales to report as yet. But i am still having fun and learning. With markets that my husband and I do for his small business and me working part time as well,and travelling for this work, it can be hard for me to put in al the time i need. ( I live an hour from my work and travel once a week to work and spend 2 nights at my mums and travel home the third day after work)

I had a dreaded email from amazon the other days saying I had not referrals.. like i didn't know that already lol so in desparation I have added some stores lol. We shall see how that goes.

In looking for info I found a member who had been here 10 months and given up. It made me feel sad beause i understood completey where he was coming from.

So many start out on the affiliate journey with dreams of earning money, many of whom are struggling financially. I have to admit it is a struggle for me to keep up with my membership and jaaxy but i consider it an investment in my future and don't blame the program but myself, because I realise it is me that is at fault. I am not doing something right.

However i shall continue on.

It may seem strange but i have 4 sites on the go. i started with my weight loss site before i discovered wealthy affiliates, and have started 2 new sites here.

Today i start a 3rd for my husband:) I know it seems crazy but to be honest I wish i hadn't started my weightloss site, as it is not where my heart is. This site is hosted on a different host and i signed up for 3 years( another story in me not knowing what I was doing at the time)

I have decide to stop hiding behind the screen and add my sites to my profile, inadequate as they are. My sites are not the perfect example of how to build an affiliate webpage, but they may give comfort to those out there also struggling.

You see I know oneday i will get a sale in spite of all my incompetence. I am learning day by day and each day my sites are improving even though the traffic is slow.

I know i have made mistakes and don't have it quite right yet, but I think of this as a journey.

Kyle has said we are here to help people and that is indeed my focus, not making money. i hope my sites do eventually reach people and i do get some sales.

I am contiuing with my weight loss site targetted at menopausal oldies like me, even though I am not exercising like i should. I shall continue to post there, but i realise now it is not a niche i should have chosen.

I have 2 other sites one about my pets and the other about law of attraction, and these are really my main focus.And of course my new site for my husband who sells wooden toys.He has been after a proper webpage for ages, and i shall endevour to get business for him , including google ads.

I lve this wealty affiliate site. I have had so much help here and i appreciate it. I love u people!!!

so from here i plod on. I have another 3 months to prove myself to amazon lol. Heck I just need one sale really to keep them happy so fingers crossed for the next few months.

It may seem strange to be working on 4 sites.As i said, my first niche was not the best one. I should have gone with my first inclination based around my pets, and law of attraction. But i know eventually I shall succeed in each of the niches i have chosen. It just takes time and keeping google onside.

To those also struggling out there.Don't give up!!! We will get there in the end. Our journey may be slower than some of the others here, but we must remember it is a learning curve. Some of us take longer to learn the ropes. I am enjoying the journey.
