I Got My New Computer And I love It!
I got my computer today instead of on Tuesday. But it is here and I am using it now!
I missed my Tuesday delivery from FedEx. They said it would be delivered at the end of the day, but they were at my apartment mid morning, and I was at work. I got off early to be home for the delivery, checked my emails on my way to my truck to find that I had missed my delivery by hours.
I instantly called FedEx and had them drop it off at the grocery store about 2 blocks from where I work, because I knew it would be impossible to schedule an exact delivery time. And the grocery store has a FedEx drop site, so for me that was the best way to handle the delivery.
Well, it arrived today, and I am the happiest girl in the world right now.
I didn't realize just how bad my other HP was until I began this blog actually. It would like skip and sputter while typing and freeze up. This made creating blogs on my website very difficult as well.
The Dell wasn't as bad, but one day it just shut off for no reason and wouldn't turn back on. I did eventually get it to turn on again, but who needs that kind of frustration. I will try to fix the Dell up and use it my upstairs office, it is a nice computer, it just needs a good refurbishing I think.
But this new bad boy is just what I have been needing! I am already in love with it. It has a huge 25-inch monitor, and is just lightening fast! I have decided to give their internet browser a chance before switching to Chrome, it came with Microsoft Edge as the default browser and claims it works best with Windows 10. It let me sync my bookmarks and other information from Chrome, that was the deciding factor honestly.
Anyhow, I just wanted to give an update on my dinosaur computer ordeal. Time to get crackin on my website now.

Congrats. I need to upgrade my 5-year-old beast but just added a new power supply and processor this year so maybe another year or two. I love this machine and hope you love yours as much. I am a huge fan of HP.
I truly do love it! It is my second HP that I have bought, the Dell was a gift from my brother to my daughter, but she never used it, and it was a nice computer.
I started using it when my HP started lagging, which it was a very nice computer and faster than my poor HP that I simply wore out in the first two years of college, but I am a diehard HP gal. 🤗

Keep going forward and enjoy all before you. Yes, mine also states Microsoft Edge works best with Windows 10 but I still use Chome as my default.

When I got mine it has touch screen keep using that then realized so many fingerprints and had to keep cleaning the screen now I hardly use that.

I thought about getting a touch screen, but it was more money than I was looking to spend right now. That would have been great fun to start until like you mentioned the fingerprints uugghh. That would frustrate me so much lol.

Yep it was a lot of fun sometimes I forgot the laptop doesn't have it and get frustrated when the screen doesn't cooperate then I remember it is only my desktop that has the touch screen.
But it comes in handy if the mouse doesn't work for some reason

It is always fun getting new things, I but I can attest to getting a new computer. My laptop is almost 2 year old. I love it but it gets stuck and seem slow at times but I restart and it seems to do better. Enjoy your new computer.
This has been probably the best purchase I have made in a long time. And it feels great!

Hi Cherry, if it is 2 yrs old, have you tried to do a Defrag on it? It would make a world of difference if you have never done it. Let me know if you need instructions.
