PLUGIN AND PLAY - TIP: Before Installing any Wordpress Plugin in your LIVE SITE!
As WordPress defines PLUGIN - "PLUGINS can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine."
Experience Speaks
True - as my personal experience speaks coming from a software development background. I am happy to share 3 of my WordPress references you can check if you get the chance.

Up and Running Websites with Plugin
Keeping those websites always up and running is my concern. With that, I always carry on with the following steps when I've first met the plugin.
STEP 1: Create a TEST SITE (Happy that we have a lot available as WA Premium member)
STEP 2: Install the PLUGIN in your created TEST SITE
- BUDGET WISE: Before downloading you can google first using this keyword: best free plugin for [feature/function you are looking for in a plugin]
Example is best free wordpress plugin calculator - REVIEWS: Check for PLUGIN REVIEWS
- DOWNLOADS: Downloaded from WordPress or anywhere over the web
STEP 3: Test the FEATURES of the PLUGIN YOURSELF
- This is the FUN part - your enjoyable moment to PLAY with the PLUGIN :)
STEP 4: Install in your LIVE SITE if it did WORK WELL in your TEST SITE
------------------- WAIT!!! 1 more IMPORTANT STEP below :) ----------------------
STEP 5: SHARE your PLUGIN discovery in WA community. :)
Does Plugin and Play Works?
Personally speaking, those steps work pretty well for me. I would love to hear and learn from you too. Thank you for reading. All the best WArriors!

Thanks for the great advice! I'm just learning to use plugins. If they don't do what I need, I take them right back out again, too. LOL
Nice to hear from you Carla. Am hoping you did enjoy the plugin test drive :) If we have the "trash" and "treasure" buckets for plugins which one wins? :D
jonw - did pin a list in his Pinterest account, maybe we could consolidate some which already worked for us. I will be setting up my account too in Pinterest next. Thanks to jonw for the recommendation!
I just got my Pinterest boards up and running again. Will be working on them this week. I'm on there as GhostWriteHer if you'd like to follow me.
Hi jonw,
I already created my Pinterest board - will keep myself familiar with it little by little. I followed you :) Thanks!
Cheers,
Jhen
Awesome advice and a great practice. You never know what a plugin will do to your site.
A plugin playground is a nifty idea
Thanks Damien - yes, plugin playground is really great!
I have once requested the WA support to bring back my latest working site for negosyolink.com - because I did crash it for a not compatible plugin :)... Lessons learned! haha
Cheers - Jhen
I just added a Share This plugin to my site to link to social networks, I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Jon
Thanks Jhen, I also joined pinterest yesterday. I've working on a affiliate marketing board there. Jon

I just got my Pinterest site going again. It's http://www.pinterest.com/ghostwriteher/ You need to know someone's name, usually, to search. Lots of work to do. I'll go find you, Marion!

Hi McKing, it takes my site to crash first in order for me to write this. haha. Cheers!
Hahhaha oh my! Did you manage to get it up and running again?
WA support did restore the last working website - so it is up and running again that is the website you put your comment on - negosyolink.com. The WA support is my first resource and they've restored it back immediately - I just need to mentioned to them the last plugin I've installed. Learn, learn, learn! haha
Awesome service!! And yes! Learn learn learn! :D
