Getting Started

I have been a member here off and on since 2018. I have started and stopped many times since then and I kick myself because if I had taken baby steps every day for the last 5 y

These are all great replies. Thank you all for your comments. It has all helped. I've taken something from everyone.

by creating this post you have laready done something - so keep the momentum going...
tomorrow open your website in your back office and see if it needs anything doing....
review the posts you have and start thinking about the direction of your site....
keep a note of any ideas that come to mind and don't worry if none come...
little by little you will expand your habit...

this sounds like me...
breaking the steps you want to take into smaller and smaller steps until you actually do it ...
even if it is just logging into your site to check if things need updating...
or create an excel or google doc for ideas for your site...
and possibly use ai or find your competitors to help with ideas...
and then slowly start building posts up...
but as with a lot of people who have full time jobs it is difficult and not a high priority - until renewal comes around ot remind you - either of the course or the domains...
then you tell yourself off for not doing anything with it....
but don't - if you have got that far then you are ahead of 90% of the population ( no link to back it up)....
you have created a website that is live....
the problem with creating training is - i have gone through shed loads of different training - and nothing has helped...
i know what to do and why i want to - but it still is not enough...
but keep going and find what you want to do....
have a think that if you had no money worries - what would you do...after taking all the holidays you wanted ....and bought everything you think you need....now what - you are bored so you...........
and have a look into that ....
you need to ignite your spark again...

Jacqueline, have you identified your WHY? Why are you doing this. That will help you commit to your goals. Your "Why" is hugely important in setting your goals. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Jenni.

I can totally relate. I'm that person that always has multiple things going at the same time and can only fully commit to one or two of them. Everything else goes on the back burner. That's usually where it stays until one of the other commitments fails or is too shaky to depend on.

Even now, I have 4 different lines in the water, but only WA and one of the others have the kind of profit potential that demands my attention and prioritization. Through it all, I've kept WA, because I knew that even if I didn't take full advantage of it back then, someday I would. Now I'm at a point where it's never been clearer that I need to push forward with it.

So I totally get you! Mindset truly is everything. But don't worry, because if you're still in here, there must be a reason. Deep down, you know you'll be needing WA just like I knew it. And the way things are getting now, economically and so forth, maybe now is finally the time.

Best wishes to you!

Mark
