Empower Network Bullies

Last Update: September 06, 2013

Empowered or Weakened?

Everyone loves to feel Empowered by something. If you have ever been to an Anthony Robbins seminar you understand what it means to be Empowered.

Successful coaching professionals truly know how to PUMP you up and get you excited about your future. For this reason, success seminars continue to thrive and yet the number of people who succeed at a high level is few.

http://www.ted.com/talks/john_wooden_on_the_difference_between_winning_and_success.html

That being said, perhaps I was looking for something to "Pump Me Up" when a friend of mine introduced me to Empower Network. She promised me that it was the best thing since slice butter and it would help develop my skills as an internet entrepreneur.

However, what I got was a lot of hype. Once I plugged in to Empower Network, I was inundated with emails, videos and pop ups that urged me to "GET ALL IN" because if I didn't I was cheating myself and I was a "WUSSY".

Guess what? My girlfriend had already invested a good sum of money, was "ALL IN", and yet had NOTHING to show for it.

And she isn't alone.

Feel free to Google Empower Network Reviews and you will see what I mean.

TRUTH or PROPAGANDA?

You be the judge.

Do you find the claims they make to be Truth or Propaganda?

Let's see...

CLAIM: 100% Commissions

TRUTH: You receive credit for (every other transaction) but only for the products that you have purchased yourself. Every other sale will benefit your "Upline"(people who referred you).

CLAIM: Get started for only $25 per month!

TRUTH: The $25 per month membership does not allow you any commissions at all. And quite frankly, very little value. In order to begin making commissions you must pay an additional $19.99 per month.

CLAIM: Your very own Blogging Platform

TRUTH: You do not own your own Blogging content nor will you ever own the platform in which it is created. EN owns it and they can take it away from you at any time.

THESE ARE AMONG A FEW OF THE MANY CLAIMS

Addicted to Hype?

Most people want to get excited about what they are doing.

It's well understood that the journey and challenges that one faces while on the road to internet marketing success are less than thrilling. I get that.

At the same time, it's important to understand and recognize the difference between real value and HYPE or just plain BS.

Those who are truly having success understand that there are specific strategies that lead to wealth and accomplishment. Among these, education, experience, and stick-to-it-iveness are among the greatest principles.

Stick with What Works

Since joining WA, I have learned and implemented far more in 1 month than I ever learned with my 4 months EN membership.

The training here is valuable and seemingly endless.

There are no adds that are constantly popping up and telling me to "GET ALL IN" a.k.a BUY MORE!!

No more BULLIES and no more BS!

People can say what they want about EN, but I don't like them at all. Their marketing tactics, in my opinion, are unethical. They make people believe that all membership will cost them is $25 a month. Then after joining, you find you have to pay an additional $19 a month just to get paid! And I haven't yet mentioned all the different levels of so called "products" which total over $5,000. The program is full of hype to get people fired up and motivate them to spend their hard-earned money, but unfortunately they are basically getting nothing in return. I don't see any value in the lower-end products and the higher-end products are too expensive. I wouldn't necessarily call it a scam, but the chances of success with EN are slim to none. Don't walk, run away from this company!

I would definitely call them a scam.

Did you get all in. I know it can be annoying. But there not all bad some of there leaders. Jon Penberthy,Vic Strizheus,Paul Barroso are really good guys. Not to meantion Jeff Buchanan. Honest guys who really care. Maybe not everyone was like these guys but there not all bad.

Still pushing a program that isn't exactly ethical though.

Seraina, I live in Honolulu and have counted five of their top salesmen (including a husband/wife tag team) blanketing the state (including my facebook feed) with their campaigns—I managed to catch on before I could get led to one of their "free" seminars. I may be planning my own pro-WA campaign specifically for here because Hawaii is full of people struggling to get by and they're the ones that get targeted by pyramids like EN

Thank goodness you we made aware of their crafty schemes! You could be very successful in sharing WA because it sells itself really. It is a TRUE path to success that doesn't cost anyone a fortune. And, you have no guilt in sharing it because by doing so you are actually doing your friend (neighbors) a favor! Best wishes to you and your success.

EN draws you in with promise of big money quickly and good support. They don't have support and big money is only for the guys on top. Problem is you cannot really find out about the system until you are signed up. Their promises are false!

I'm more careful. I found out that EN network are MLM in the category. BBB and DSA won't certified either verified them for business online. EN network drained their money for nothing.
Reply

EN aren't in the MLM category. They pretend they are. They are in the pyramid scheme category.
Reply

I agree with Dom- they don't even qualify for MLM status. I'm surprised they have managed to stay around this long.

So true- well, it's amazing what money and a bit of fame (infamous) or not can do to people. When greed is a factor, many will stop at nothing to get what they want. It's up to us to recognize the wolf in sheeps clothing.
Reply

The love of money is the root of all evil...they would definitely do everything they can to get the $$$ into their pockets.

Oh, well, sad to say they sleep well while we are doing hard work to generate decent income. I hope everyone here will get out there and educate the virtual world about what is legitimate. It's a social responsibility we have to take upon our shoulders.

Yes, I also considered joining them and then joined WA instead. I just don't know how they manage to draw so many members if they are all just hot air.
Reply
SerainaLee Premium
That is a GREAT question! What in the world was it that really drew us all in? If we can figure that out than we will be on to something!
Reply
teambuild Premium
We were drawn in because at that time there wasn't a lot coming out online and being inquisitive animals we joined because a lot of others were doing the same. The leaders then quick as a flash started pumping out videos of the top brass in EN earning shed loads of money. Even though I signed up 18 people when I was with them, when I got the inner circle product that everyone in there said I just got to have...I was blown away by how average the content was. From that day my heart wasn't in it and was embarrassed when people asked me about it, and started to tell my downline don't bother getting it. We owe to tell as many people as we can about this cult movement.

I was very lucky to have read an article on scams before committing, we are lucky we have people that let us know when all is not what it seems. Thank you to all those people.

So very true! It's just a shame that so many have been mislead. We are all looking for a way to have more money and more freedom. Many see that need and they take advantage of people in search of the answer.

glad I never joined. will ask some friends I know how they are doing with it. Just read about Maxa losing to those cheap swindlers Dave and Dave. These jerks were on the cover of a magazine called Home Business connection. It should be Kyle and Carson on there. Not some cheats and liars!!
Reply

I'm happy you never fell victim to that company as well. Wow, is that one of those magazines that you can pay to be featured on? That wouldn't surprise me. It is no doubt that Dave and Dave had achieved success with their company but it is unfortunate that they had to do so in a misleading way.

There's a lot of truth there that you're sharing. I was watching Vick Strizheus for a while, and he seemed like he had a really good deal going, almost caught me, then he linked up with empower net, and it seem like a downward spiral from there--and I"m glad I didn't invest a dime there.

Much much much better here, and for $359/year, it's a real bargain with all of the support, classes, teaching, and websites--gee, it's cheaper than a college marketing course!--At the local Technical college!

Likewise i only found out who and what they are up to after paying the $25- its a pyramid scheme , as there are no tangible products , hence all the "upgrading" !
