Tropical Storm Barry Might Force Me to Take a Weekend Off
Well, guys. I may be missing from WA (and my sites) for a couple days. Tropical Storm Barry is headed right towards us. It's expected to strengthen to a Hurricane before landfall. That's not the issue though, it's the rain. I'm further inland so I'm not in the mandatory or even voluntary evacuation area, but we're expecting up to 8" or 10" of rain in my area and the rivers are still high already. Flooding dangers, unfortunately. I'm also in the path of probably power outages, so here's to crossing our fingers!
Even if power stays on, I might lose WiFi or cell service, so we'll see how it goes. Luckily, I'm trying an experiment on my site, so Friday was post day. We'll be fine for a bit longer if I don't get back online until next week.
If anyone is curious, yes, I'll be working through the storm in the morning. I work with horses, and no matter the weather, we're going to be out in it, swimming to them or not.
Have a good weekend guys!
Lovies!

Your online business will be waiting for you when you get back. In the meantime stay safe and take care
Please stay safe.
We will be looking forward to hearing from you after the storm has passed.
Blessings,
Michael
I hope you aren't affected too badly by the storm.
You don't need to worry about your online life. It can be left alone for a few days just fine. You have bigger fish to fry so to speak! I hope you, the horses and kitties are all ok.
Good luck!
Jessica
It was wussy near here. Lol. They were predicting like 8" of rain overnight. Ha! We sprinkled and got windy, but nothing more than a good thunderstorm would do. I was kinda disappointed after getting all worked up for it!
If it gets really bad, we release them. Its safer for them that way. But where I am it's the rain that they're worried about. Thanks for your concern!
You are welcome. I haven't checked news in last couple hours, so hopefully it isn't getting too bad.
Between the already high rivers and the expected rain, LA isn't going to be having too much "fun" in the next day or so.
Stay safe.
It is moving pretty slowly. It's getting pretty windy right now but not bad yet. Thanks so much!
Be careful out in that weather. I've been reading about the flooding in NO and Barry will add a lot on top of that.
Stay safe,
Michael
