Fonts: Tip for changing the size and font style
I just wanted to share this tip because I had trouble with this and I wanted to give people an easy fix for fonts and sizes. I added the Plugin "WP Edit"
Here's how I did it in case you need help:
- Just go to "Plugins" and then "Add New" at the top.
- Then "Search Plugins" at the top right.
- Type in "WP Edit" and find the Plugin
- Click on "Install Now". (The Plugin will install itself)
- Activate "WP Edit" in the Plugins menu.
- Click on the menu item at the very top of the page: "WP Edit"
- Open that up and it will show you "Button Rows" and "Button Container".
- Drag the buttons you want from the "Button Container" area to the "Button Rows" area. I chose the "Font Family" and "Font Sizes" Buttons". There are many other things you can add such as "Background Color" and "Emoticons".
- Add whatever buttons you like and then click "Save"
- Open up a post and then make sure you have the "Toolbar Toggle" button activated to display the bottom row of buttons. (It looks like a keyboard)
And there you are! The list of fonts is a bit limited, and I'm not sure if that's because it tries to match up with the fonts on the computer, but at least there are a few options and you can now re-size your text. I'm sure if you play around with this plugin, you will find more cool stuff to do with it.
Cheers! :)
Shannon
