I was looking for a video editor that I can splice together four videos into one video.
I have a friend that recorded 1 song four different ways.
On the first track
Lenard. Check our Screen Cast O Matic. It has many of these functions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screencast-O-Matic
Hey LeNard,
When looking for software, I tend to seek out Google. See screen prints below...
Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you, Triblu,
Google is what I usually do, but I want to see if anyone inside of WA was maybe using a video editor in a similar way.
I like that you did give me a direction. The images will be where I start after getting more answers.

Do you know of any video editor we can use to complete this?

Hi there. I would recommend Screen Cast O Matic which I have used in the past. I believe this will be able to do what you are looking to do, but have to say I have not done it myself (yet!)
You are welcome. Yes it was very easy to use and they have lots of video tuition which is a great help.

Ok, some of us WA members are using the siteComment platform to get website comments
How do you know which comment is from members here at WA?
How do I know which c
Comments left by members will show up under the Websites > Site Comments tool and will show up in the Comments section of your site dashboard.
Comments left by your visitors show up in the Comments section of your site dashboard but not in the Site Comments tool here at WA.
Hey LeNard,
When you receive an email from the WA server letting you know your website has received a comment than you will know that it comes from a WA member... and you will need to accept or deny it from the SiteComment section of WA.
However, if when you log into your WordPress Dashboard, you see a Comment pending authorization that would be from someone outside of the WA membership area.
Hope this helps you.
Oh, I see. That's what I thought.
The reason I asked the question, someone from WA copied and pasted a couple of paragraphs from my post, and a few from my comments and tried to pass it to me as their comment.
So, I gave them a piece of my mind.
I just wanted to make sure I'm not burning my candle at both ends.
I would too.. I had someone do that via an organic comment. i.e. not from within WA comments. I am thinking they were just after backlinks - I didn't comment back - just rejected.
Those leaving honest comments stick to the topic and do not copy and paste from anyone's post that I have EVER seen. You would only do that if you wanted verification for something an author stated anyway.
Rejecting that comment was a good choice.
As for scolding a member leaving a bad comment, I prefer to teach by clearly explaining to the person why I am rejecting their comment.
If they leave me feedback rather than a comment, I would provide them with Loes' tutorial: Difference between feedback and comments But to be honest with you, I quit asking for comments simply because I found myself far too busy teaching members how to comment properly, instead of creating content for my sites.
I'm not into scolding people, but this was the worst case of plagiarism that I've seen in a while.
I did explain to the person we all should be using the system in an honest way. And if they couldn't, they should reframe from using the platform.
But I like your approach better. I'm going to bookmark the training you dropped here, I'm sure it will come in handy.
Thank you.

Hello, I am LeNard Simmons; Can anyone help me with a Wordpress post summary issue? I am trying to set up a new website and ran into a little dilemma with the blogroll. Has any
It is the way the theme was developed. At the end of your, every blog intro adds a read more tag it should solve the problem.
The only way I could fix the problem without going into the code was to install the theme and reinstall.
It is working great now. Thank you
To fix this, the easiest way without messing with code is to download this plugin below. Activate it and you will now have excerpts of your posts on your homepage.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt
Afterward, you can also control the number of posts on your homepage by going to Dashboard>Settings>Reading>Blog pages show at most
Thank you, David. I am hoping to avoid two things adding a plugin or having to go into coding. But if I had to do one or the other, I would choose the coding.
I have some PHP knowledge and have created the code for an excerpt for some themes I created in the past. I could create a tutorial showing WA folks how I went about it. I did write a post some time back here in WA. Is WordPress Poetry or A Conspiracy? At the same time using a plug-in is my more productive, but it can slow down your site. This could be bad for visitors.
My only other option would be to, find another them. I am going to see what other Wealthy Affiliates have to say. Maybe someone had and fix the problem.
Cool, that's great! Will have a look. I remember checking out your site when I first joined.:)
Well-coded plugins hardly affect your site's speed. The footprint for this plugin is small anyway. There are many high-end WP sites with 50 or more plugins but that is normal for those who know how to differentiate good code and who can tweak.
Yes, I agree with the plugin being great if they are designed and coded right. 50 plugins, wow
Had the same issue... depends from theme... better look in appearnce if it overrules your settings...
What do you mean by overruling the setting? Where would I check to see if it did override? Thank you for the reply
I checked the setting and they look to be set tight. I inclosed an image. Does it look right to you?
Sometimes you need to set a featured image, that only displays on your homepages ( theme related)
And... if problem persists
Better change theme
I will try it. What can it hurt? If it fixes the problem, I will be happy. If not, I won't be too sad searching for another them.
I like your speedy response, we should see how we can help each other business. Maybe trade ideas or swap services.
Poems are something I have been working on for the last couple of years.

I have been using Yoast for over a while now. I not sure which is the preferred one to use here at WA. The All in One SEO Pack, or is using Yoast better?
Which SEO pack
I think that overall performance would be the same- there are some things Yoast is better at, while AIO supersedes it in others. If you already have a good experience with Yoast, there's no need to switch IMHO.
I'm sticking with Yoast. Thank you.
I had to look what is IMHO. Thank you, Kirill for your opinion.
I currently have been using All in one and have been pleases with it. To get a better understanding between the two, I recently set up a test site with yoast.
Jerome
I use the yoast plugin. I find it to be easier and it has a lot of cool features. But they both pretty much do the same thing.
Indeed. It's just a matter of preference. I like the visual appeal of yoast because it makes it easy to recognize you're doing the right thing when everything goes green. lol
I also like that feature about Yoast. I'm working improving my writing skills, but not letting it hold me back. In other words, I'm not letting Yoast tell me everytime it doesn't like the way I stated something.
Fair enough. I focus more on making sure the seo part turns green. But most of the time my readability is green too.
I think if you put them both in a sack, shook them up and poured them out they would come out at the same time.
The training uses AIO so it might be good to let that be the guide as long as a person is involved in the Certification courses. I've also got a couple of sites that I installed Yoast on just to see if it made a difference. Not enough to warrant a mass changeover.
Yoast - It's nice that it tells me what my focus keyword is, but shouldn't I already know that? It also tells me the keyword density but again, shouldn't I already know that? I know there's more to it than that, but you get my drift.
Someone mentioned AIO not having the XML sitemap - you have to activate it from the AIO Feature Manager function.
Mike
Thank you, Michael, for your thoughts. I believe I'm sticking with Yoast.
Yes, Yoast offers an XML sitemap, I have activated it.
I started with All in One SEO and switched to Yoast. While both are great, I prefer Yoast.
All in One SEO is a bit basic and requires addons for certain functions like creating a sitemap. Yoast can help you with optimizing your blog posts and pages. I also noticed that using Yoast improved my overall SEO and rankings on Google.
To get to the point. Both plugins are great and do their job just fine. It's a personal preference.
Choose the one you like and are most comfortable with. This will be the best one. :)
Thank you, Nicole. They both seem great. I decided to stick with Yoast. Now the question is, do I upgrade or run with the free version for a while longer?
I've been using the free version since the switch and that was back in 2015.
For the basics, it's not necessary to upgrade. The free version is powerful enough to do its SEO job.
An upgrade would make sense if you need additional features such as redirects, internal linking and multiple focus keywords.
Redirects can be done manually or with a different plugin and internal linking is something you can do, too.
It really depends on how much functionality you want. If you're happy with the free version, don't upgrade. If you could use some additional features, you may consider an upgrade.
Here's more information about the additional features.
https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-premium-features/
Thank you, Nicole. This information about Yoast is good. I agree I think I'll be fine with the free version.
Both are have different features but the end result is the same if you do your homework. Toast does come with a sitemap and with all in one you have to have a plugin.
They both worked well.
The AIO does come with an XML Sitemap. You can activate it along with other features in the Feature Manager Menu.
I typed Yoast and my phone changed it to toast....guess that means time for breakfast....Ha
Yes, Yoast comes with a Sitemap but all in one does not...at least not a stable one to help spread your content.
i think its a matter of opinion and functionality that is needed. Ain1 seems very basic to me and that is fine with some. some folks swear by all in one and others by yoast. I personally use yoast, considering upgrading to premium in a few weeks.
It' seems like a lot of people uses Yoast. I just started using it not too long ago. It working for me. I was just getting other people thoughts on the subject. Thank for your thoughts, Bassey.

I have not seen this. It may be a temporary glitch that should be reported to support. See if you can go back to each of those pages and publish them. They should be saved, so you can get out of WA and then get back in and try again.
Thank you, Jim, for responding to my question so quickly. I will try that along with contacting support. Have you tried to access my HTML Cleaning and Organizing tutorial? If so, how many pages were you able to view?
