Get The Picture
When will you get the picture and start to get tired of living the way you living? Some people think they can make it through life by stealing and killing, cheating and beating the system. They got it all wrong. This ain't no song, just my feelings.
When will you get tired of just getting by? Don't think I'm in a different boat then you. We're all floating in the same oceans. It's the one's that's jumping out of the boat and into the water, the true swimmers are going to make it in their industries.
When will you get tired of living from not being able to make it to payday to payday, with only what you got on you back? It's the one's that open their eyes and get up off their butts, their the one's with the guts. Forget the other nuts, they're the one's with the fuss. The giver uppers, let them be the suffers.
When will you get tired of not believing in yourself? Don't you know that's what keeping you in the crapper? You can't keep beating yourself down. You need a hit in the back of the head, something to make you snap and wake up from your nap, get out of your bed. What you need a slap?
When will you get the picture? When the show is over, what will you be wondering? Will you be off in the distance still reading but not listening? You are not believing in your and that's why you're not receiving some wealth. What’s it going to take to show you this is you break-through? This ain’t for you fake dudes.
Stop letting the play you for the fool, letting them tell you that it's cool to follow their rules; Pay attention you’re getting school, but not by me. You're being held down by yourself and those clowns who’s can’t wait to put your dead ass under the ground. I don’t care how it sounds.
When will you get the picture, when you’re laid out on the stretcher? It’s too late then because they already got you. I bet you.
This ain’t no poetry, nor is it one of my rap-poetry. This is your call to action designed to snatch your ass from this world, to save you from the rapture, if that's what you believe.
