New Website For Gigs!
This has been a fun week. If you don't know, I am a music nut, it is my passion. I also, about once a month, perform at a local wine bar.
I never had a website to promote my gigs and since we have like 25 available to use I decided to create Rick Scherer Live.
Got it launched, posted it on FB (and set up a FB Business Page), and I was amazed that in 2 days I was found by google. Sweet!
On top of that I am up to about 80 likes on my new FB page. Pretty cool.
So why?
One of my friends said to me "I never knew how cool a picture of a microphone could be".
That was it! The pic of the microphone. Not my songs, not my video, WOW.
It has been a fun diversion from working new blogs for my "working website". Who knew how much fun you can have building websites.

Hi Rick, i am on the otherside of the pont in th uk. I also love music and am a drummer, now 62 years old. I looked at your gig site and listened to a few of the song. Rickki dont lose that number is one of my favourites. You have a good voice.
I actually stopped drumming in my 20s but took it up again at age 56 and love it.
I also have a site but pre WA. Its called rustyguns.rocks. its not as polished as you but hey its a love and passion.

Thank you, Rick. That is what I love about WA: Turning your passion into value while enjoying it thoroughly. That is what I have heard about working: Work should be enjoyable. Then it is not work (even though it is) but fun. Imagine the productivity in the world if work were fun and not obligatory!
