I just kept wondering why my GA has no data to show for the last 3 months? However, on the Bing Webmaster Tools, I can literally see all the data.
What could be wrong with my GA set-up?
I did follow the set-up instructions accordingly though.
I also have my GA tracking ID on all of my website's pages.

Thank you for answering.
Joe

when you say you can see it on each page, you are referring to in the head section rather than visible to everyone.....
try gachecker.com to see if the global site tag column is ticked...
if not then you may not have set it up proprerly
with the ga4 code you need to copy the whole of the code and i would advise watching to see what to copy and where to place it...
i hope you get it sorted Joe...

Oh ok, will do, thanks Phil.
After checking with gachecker.com, it is shown all ticked with an 'x' in the global site tag column. So, it is not set up properly then, right?

I have never had that problem either Joe. Catherine has asked the right questions below. Also Jay has done some really good live training on this.
As you say “ I did follow the set-up instructions accordingly though.”

Why don’t you ask Google analytics help desk. I am sure they have one.. If not I would be surprised.

I have never had that problem Joe, but I would think that somehow there is an error in the setup process. Are you installing Google analytics or GA4. How did you install it? By that I mean did you do it manually or did you do it by plugIN

There may be an error in truth. The set up process is a pain in the rear for sure.
In the end, I decided to use the Monstersight plugin. I am getting good results.

It was the GA manually installed, Catherine.
Or do I have to upgrade to GA4?

Oh, I deactivated that Monstersight plugin. I thought of just using the GA alone, Maxine.

No problem. You have to do what works for you Joe. I am sure you will sort things out.

Monster insights is not recommended, Joe, so getting rid of that was correct!

Should I get rid of it too Jeff?

I'm pretty sure that Kyle doesn't recommend it, Maxine, but check to be sure!
