Hi all, I can't understand why Bing doesn't want to index my blogs while Google indexes them instantly. I tells me he has seen my post but not crawled as there are issues and does this to pretty much all my posts. There is a page of reasons why MAY but the info is that broad it could pretty much be everything.

Any suggestions or experience with issues of Bing not indexing?

Thanks in advance Jude

I had this problem too, Bing will give you a link you need to past into your home page for them to verify your account. Log into your site, through WA. In the upper left corner click on the W. Click on Pages and then click on Home Page. In the upper right corner will be three vertical dots. let the mouse linger over that icon and you'll see a menu. the editor gives you two options: visual and code. select code and then past the Bing link at the top of the page, hit update and then change it back to visual editor if that's your preference. Be careful not to delete anything in code that's already there. Go back to Bing and retry the verification process.

Google and Bing have different algorithms. What works on Google doesn't always work on Bing. But considering the amount of volume for Google vs. Bing, focus on Google. If you change things for Bing, Google knows and penalizes!

Hey Jude,

Can you provide a screen print of these reasons, please? That might be the best way that you will be able to resolve this quicker.

The other thing you might try... copy and paste those reasons, one at a time, into Google and see if there are posts offering tips. Bing may have even provided helpful guides like Google does.

Just a thought...

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Trish, this is the screenshot. Thank you for stopping by. This is the link to the guidelines as it doesn't fit on a screenshot.

It literally could be 101 different things it seems like. Not sure how to resolve this issue.
Thanks for stopping by Trish.

If you are certain that there is nothing wrong with your posts, then you CAN click on the "Request Indexing" as explained below their warning.

In other words, if for some reason, their spiders found your website inaccessible when they were trying to index your posts, then you would get this warning.

Hope that makes sense.

At least, make sure there is NOTHING is wrong with that post. and then click the Request Indexing button for ONE post at a time. See if that resolves this issue.

Ok thanks, Trish, I have no idea what could be possibly wrong with my post without they will specific tell me what the issue is. I have clicked the request indexing lets see if it will index my content🤷‍♀️, fingers crossed.
Thanks for stopping by.

Would love to know if this works... and, if it DOES work... try clicking on that button for only 2 posts.

The shared servers MIGHT be the issue plus the times that Bing sends out their spider software (yes, that is what it is knows as) to do the indexing.

Hi Trish, just coming back here to let you know that even though I have submitted my sitemap and requested indexing, Bing still just don't index my posts, the only thing what is indexed is my site.

This is my new site, and Google has indexed all posts indexed on my new site, and I do not understand why Bing don't want it. Maybe he won't like to index till my site is more mature? Not sure, I guess I get back to writing content and wait and see.

Ps, I did add the sitemap to Bingmasters as well last month.

Have an amazing weekend.

Have forgotten if you've seen this guide yet or not: https://www4.bing.com/webmasters/help/why-is-my-site-not-in-the-index-2141dfab

I did notice that your one site is indexed in Bing, but not your 2nd site listed in your profile here. That I do find odd indeed.

It appears that you have setup your sites using the exact same theme too.

Do you have a robot dot txt file in place stopping indexing?
Have you discussed this issue with SiteSupport to see if they can shed a light on this for you?

If you do reach out to SiteSupport, please don't go asking them if Bing doesn't like you, as that isn't what the problem is.

Let SiteSupport know that your one site (tell them which one) appears to be fully indexed in Bing and the other one is only indexed to the loading page, and you would love to understand why, because you have discussed this in the forum, checked Bing's guides and STILL cannot figure this mystery out.

Please, do keep me posted as to what you discover as I'd LOVE to know why.

Hi, did you request indexing on Bing?

It's the opposite with me, Bing tend to index and rank me faster than Google

No I do have Bing and G Analytic set up. Don't worry.

I was just asking you if you're using the request indexing option on Bing since you are saying they can't index your content

Yes, I do, but when I try to check URL I get this response there is something wrong. Please see my screenshot in Trish her comment.

Ok I just saw it, and it seems you've hit the "request indexing" button. Let's hope it works. Ideally it will if there's nothing wrong on the page/post
