Hi WA community.
Just a quick question. I hope you can help me out on this one.
I noticed that some of my older posts are not indexed yet by Google and some of the newer posts are.
By older I mean 6 weeks and by newer we're talking less than a week.
Is this normal? What is the average time for a published post to get noticed by Google?
Thank you,
Ezra.

Hi, Ezra
I assume you are submitting your sitemap and URL to Google with each new article, right?
Index time seems to be highly variable. There is no way to calculate or predict it.
I have been fortunate with my guitar website in that my posts usually get indexed and ranked on Bing & Yahoo within 15 minutes and 12 to 18 hours with Google.
My health website takes a lot longer, probably because it's more competitive - who knows.
Just keep creating content and Google will eventually index and rank it all.

Google moves in mysterious ways. I had the same problem some time ago. This is how I fixed it: Google Indexing Problem: Fixed!
