I just checked the speed of my website and it came back with less than desirable numbers. Google mentioned the following and I do not know what this means or whether or not I should do what is being suggested,
Can someone please assist me?

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Your page has 12 blocking script resources and 5 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.
None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.

Thank you, this does help. I do have a question about the W3 Total Cache plugin. It tells me that it hasn't been tested with my version of Word Press. Can I still download it? Or will it cause issues?

Sometimes it doesn't matter if a plugin hasn't been tested with the latest version of WordPress and sometimes it's better to use a different plugin.

I changed over to WP Fastest Cache and I'm using that now without any issues.

Thank you again. One more question, if you don't mind? Do I need to do anything in the "options" sections?

Yes, tick all the boxes and go through the tabs to see if there's anything else you want to do.

I see that I have to purchase the premium version of this plugin in order to do what I want to do. My question is, once I buy it, can I apply the same plugin to my other websites and only pay once?

I use the free version. It does everything I need. I don't know the details of their licence, you'd have to check on their website.

Define these resources then parse them for proper loading Scott!
