I was working on my banner/logo. In site manager, when I go to appearance, then customize, then I go to branding. I got my logo and banner done. Below that is something called "Favicon" and "Site Icon". I have the ability to add images here. I don't quite understand what these are and how I should use them. Can anyone help explain these for me?

Thank you, johnny

Is the size of the logo on my website dependent on the theme or do I have the abiltiy to make it cover more across the top, especially making it wider. Mine only takes up about a third. Or do I even need to worry about this, and just leave the empty side space for other things in the future like ads I'm guessing. Thanks for you help. I will check out those training links. johnny

When I go to the link to customize my appearance, it has a place to add an image for my favicon and I have done that. But then below that, there is a place to add a site icon image. I am not sure what the difference is and do I need both since I created a favicon image? Thanks for your help. johnny

The size of the logo is theme dependent, Johnny. Favicon is now called Site Icon.

Hey Johnny,

Site Icon is your site logo which will be appeared in your website whereas Favicon is an icon that appear on Search Engines Browser Tab

Should those images be the same as the logo image or different or at least similar or related to the logo image?
