Hey everyone.

I have been posting on my websites (niche + promoting WA) regularly and I still don't get much traffic. I also only get content clicks and rarely ever get raw / unique clicks. Even then, my raw and unique clicks are always under 3.

I don't know what I may be doing wrong. Can you take a look at my websites and let me know what I can improve?

youngandfinanciallyfree.com

theacnefreelife.com

And are there other ways that I can increase traffic on my website except for content? I posted my links on FB, on Twitter, on G+ and did everything Kyle explained in his videos. I'm moving forward and creating a lot of content as well, but there has been no change.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

I know.. :) I was just wondering if I was doing anything wrong. If time is all it takes, then no problem. I can be patient. I'm very new so I'm unaware of the way it works or how long it takes to work... Thanks

Well to me, I don't think you are doing something, once you are following training step by step. Knowing your website is new,it takes time for people to get to know about it and it also takes time for google to rank it.

You're not doing anything wrong. Your sites are under 2 months old.

Be patient. It takes time. Google very rarely ranks a new site quickly.

If you still aren't getting traffic after 6 months, then it's time to worry and look at what needs to be done.

Lol, okay.. :) I'm so new at this, so I don't really know how long to wait for or what else is out there for SEO. Thanks for your reassurance.. I feel better!!! :D

Googlehas a thing called the sandbox. Basically they don't rush to rank new sites. This is because users want information from reputable, established sites. So Google isn't going to rank a site if it doesn't know it will still be around in a few months. It wants to promote sites that are in it for the long term.

Therefore, you need persistence, it usually takes 6 months to a year for rankings to really take off if you are just relying on organic traffic from the big G.

So it's also worth reading up on how to promote your content, get guest posts, use Facebook ads etc to speed things up.

I know the feeling, Newstar! I have the same problem with my site. Have you been sharing your posts on social media? That is a very important step in getting your content noticed. I've noticed that I get more organic hits now that I am using social media for my posts after I publish them. Hope this helps. Alanna

I have been sharing my posts but I guess its just that the people I know on FB are just not interested.. :( FB is my biggest social network for now. I just joined Twitter and G+ and I have been sharing on those as well but still no improvement. So I guess, I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and just add content. Hopefully, my SEO ranking will improve.

Thanks for sharing and for your suggestion.

Social media is a great way to network but it also takes time and work. For Twitter and G+ you need to also be following people so that they see your tweets. It takes time--much like building out your website and adding great content. It doesn't happen overnight.

Hi Reyhana, I looked at your website youngandfinanciallyfree.com. I suggest you add social media buttons so your visitors can engage/share your content. Also keep adding content.

Oh that's a good idea. How can I add social media buttons?

Thanks for your help!

Just add a plugin like Tweet Like Plusone or Sociable.

I think your sites look very informative and good in word count (which is not a must but it's good for google rankings over time). So I think you need to keep writing posts and stick to the good work you have done and you will make it.
Patience is key. Do not focus on rankings and money - what you are building is legacy - something that will stay there forever. So give your best, have no expectations and the positiveness will come :) Be sure of it.

Hey Sovani. Thanks for the feedback. You're right about not looking for money at this point. I totally agree with you. I was just scared I was doing something wrong because there are barely any visitors. I like to help people and if nobody's reading the information I'm providing, I'm helping nobody.. :( So just wanted to make sure I was on the right track. I will keep writing for sure.. Thank you so much!!
