I have requested my first comments for my website ... didnt think I would get 8 straight away .. :)

So should I accept all the comments straight away or maybe one per day so to make it more natural to the search engines.

Thoughts please.

You should just approve them all. It really doesn't matter. Who says it's not natural for a website to get 8 comments right away?

If it helps next time you request comments, you have to option to get comments posted immediately and over the space of 7 days. I think there's another option too.

One thing you can do to make things look more natural is to request say 10 comments immediately and then request another 10 over the space of 7 days after the first set is posted.

You are of course right to say that getting 8 comments right away isn't natural.

I must have admit I thought your could stagger the comments will do that next time ... thanks for the heads up :)

Actually I meant that you can indeed get 8 comments straight away. That is natural too and shows that your website has community. There are websites online that get tonnes of comments as soon as they post and it naturally ends up spacing out over time. That's why I suggested getting some more over the space of 7 days using that option in Site Comments.

I would space your replies out.

Hi Robert, Ideally I would do this, but as smartketeer has said the date is when the comment was placed and not when its approved. And this has been confirmed when approving second comment today. I wonder if there is a way of staggering them...

As far as I know, the comment date is what matters, not the approval date.

Well, you are correct as I have approved one today and one last night and both say yesterdays date, so spacing them out isnt going to work... Thanks for the heads up :)

Marty, if this helps, I approve all at the same time. as I think of the relationship aspect mainly and it also build the KLT factor too
