"medical advice sites

Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is a very well written article. I’ll make sure to bookmark it and come back to read more of your useful information. Thanks for the post. I will definitely comeback."

No I'm quite sure it is spam but does it do your site any harm google wise?

It is a spam. Did they include a website or URL of any kind under their name as a commenter? If yes you can remove the URL. You can also edit one of the comments to make it look awesome - since it's coming from a unique IP - and let it sit on your website. Then it won't hurt your site based on my best knowledge.

unless you got a medical advice sites.. I think this is spam.

Usually they try to link a site in their comments.. check the website field. If that looks suspicious, delete the comment.

Most of it should be warded by siterubix, but some can be made by humans still and therefore it can slip through the system.

and like magnus said, alternatively you can completely edit the comment to make it useful. It's a free way of re-activating old content.

Good question! I never thought of this. Therefore I don't know. I'm very interested what other members will say.
