I have managed to watch Jimbos video why he likes Yoast and it looks good to use.
But will it affect any of the settings related to ALL IN ONE and all the work I have submitted to Google and the xml site map plugin I have just installed onto all of my sites? Or is it just a simple swap over?
Andi.

I haven't gotten to Yoast yet but will keep posts like this bookmarked for when I do.

I CHANGED TO YOAST AND WHEN YOU CHANGE IT ASKS YOU DO YOU WANT TO "IMPORT" YOUR CURRENT SEO SETTINGS AND I SAID "YES"

I THEN JUST WENT THORUGH THE TRAINING THAT COMES WITH IT AND I RESUBMITTED THE SITEMAP TO GOOGLE AND BING ETC....

IT WAS SO EASY AND SOOOOOO WORTH IT :-))

XOXOXO GREAT IDEA FROM DALE TOO :-))

I added Yoast to my free siterubix test site. I use it to write my content on first to make sure SEO is good. Then I just copy the content and put it on my live website and delete the content off of my test site.

I would never have thought of doing that. Good tip. Thanks.

No idea. I said to use All In One files but it didn't. It's OK though. I was able to make my site better.

Was it easy for you to swap?

Not simple. You'll have to redo everything. I did it a few months ago. Sooo worth it though.

It'll give you a chance to optimize your posts and make any changes and additions.

I suggest doing it but know you'll have a lot to do. I had about 30 posts and pages when I swapped and took me about two week I think.

What? I'm wondering what part of it you did wrong to have to do all of that?
Does anyone know?

I swapped over without any issues. When you activate Yoast it will ask you if you want to use the info from All In One.

Ok that sounds simple enough.
Is it free?

Yes you will have to optimize your pages and posts though but swapping from All in One to Yoast was pretty easy.

That's O.K I have done nothing but that since I started my websites, so I am used to that part of tinkering to get it right.
