I have my Google Search Console setup. I just wrote a new post a few days, it has not been ranked. Can I use Google Search Console to speed up the ranking for the new post I created for my website?

Hi Johnny, I see feigner has given you some great feedback. I still have some sites that have been indexed but do not have that fancy shiny color around the post. Once your site has been indexed it can take a few minutes to 48 hours. I have found that once you have posted a blog on your website asking for comments does reduce the time.

Best wishes,
Michael

do you not mean indexed - thiis where google adds it to its list - to then go on to find where you are most relevant with keywords ( ranking)
but ot answer your question - yes use search console
click on url inspection - making sure that you have selected the right property
and add the whole url ( view the post and copy the address)
you should get a return of - it's not indexed do you want it indexed
click on submit and after a couple of mins then it will come back with confirmation.
good luck

Hi Phil, I have one more question. How long does it take before the G on my post content gets colored?

i take it that is in sitecontent - i would say it should be updated within 24 hours of you being indexed.
unfortunately i never use sitecontent - so that is purely a guess.
i would rely on google search console and google analytics.
or if you are checking whether you are indexed then use
site:sitename
in google as a search and it will return everythin indexed from our site
you can then add a word from your latest post title after and it should show you that post. so
site:sitename tested
would return all the results on sitename with the word tested in them.

I did the URL inspection and it was submitted and indexed. Thanks for the help. It worked as you said. Good job. johnny
