Hi,

I have not been able to get my website domain name ranked in google page 1. It is 2 words but when I type it out in Google search, it will not show up. It will only show up when I join the words together.

Is there any tips or tricks that I can do to let Google recognise my website name/brand?

Thank you.

Regards,
Richard

Hey Richard,

Don't forget to search through training here on WA, as the steps to rank high in Google don't change much over the many years.

Example: Here's a tutorial to get you started: Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Richard, you are doing all the right things. Asking questions and finding out different ideas. If Google has indexed your website then it has already been recognized. Perhaps a play in the words may be something you would want to consider.

All the best,

Michael

Page one is hard to get without really focusing on keywords and new content.
I have some posts on page 1, but most are not.
I still get lots of views though with all my content.
Right now I am at 1.6k views the past month alone, and it keeps rising.
Best advice?
Don't worry about the little things.
Keep writing new and original content using keywords that people are searching, they will find your website.

Hope this helps!

Hi Richard
Without knowing your domain name (you can post it under ‘Follow Me’ at your WA profile if you wish) I can only generalise.

Google (and other search engines) rank keywords (as I am sure you know) that are found on pages or posts, based on all kinds of factors including the volume of quality content related to a particular keyword.

On the assumption that your site is indexed…
To rank on page 1 you need to post content that is at least as good (useful to readers) as others on page 1, or ideally, more useful than the others. Even then, it takes time to climb the ranks.
