I want to fill in “Google Webmaster Tools:” in the dashboard of my website. I get instructions to go to verify ownership of website and to get the code. There is my problem.
I already verified ownership using Google Analytics account.
Does anybody know how to get the code for Google Webmaster Tools when ownership of the website is already verified?

So you're saying you need the tracking code from Google Analytics to verify with Webmaster tools?

Click the gear icon in Google analytics (bottom left of page). Select the property (your website), then "Tracking Info" then "Tracking Code"

Let me know if that works for you!

Alex, did you manage to verify your site

Yes I verified ownership of my site but I did it using Google analytics and at that time I didn't know I should copy this code for Webmasters tools.

Hi Alex, I hope this is what you're looking for.

Log into: Google Analytics
In the left hand side bar locate and click on: ADMIN
In the center column, click on: TRACKING INFO
And then click on: TRACKING CODE

Hope this helps and have a great day!

No problem. Thanks very much for offering help.

Just to clarify: On the dashboard of "All in One SEO Pack Plugin Options" there is a place to enter Google webmaster tools ( please see image). This is the code I need.

Alex

It's my understanding that code is just another method for verification of ownership. But, ask around. I could be wrong.
