Hi everyone.

I search my website frequently on Google hoping to see that it's a safe, trusted, and secured website as per Norton security rating but it still shows untrusted.

What should I do to make it a secured website so that people trust it and I get more traffic?

Here is the link to the Norton report

https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http:%2F%2Fsymahinternationalacademic.com%2F&product=N360&version=22.5.5.15&lang=0901&source=toolbar

Here is my website if required http://symahinternationalacademic.com/

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Mona

Hi Mona, I have Norton Security Suite. Is it saying something like "this is a very new site, very few users, go back or continue"? If so, this will change when NISS has it indexed. People here had their site flagged today also, by Macafee however, I had no problem loading it. Let me know if it is saying something different, thanks! I just loaded your site, got no flags and no issues!

Hi William. Thank you so much for your reply and the information. I'll try to explain as I'm not that of an expert :). When I search my website on Google, it doesn't show the green icon of Norton Security which means it is safe, it shows a grey color. However, when I clicked on the grey color icon, here what it says:

Hope this helps. I always thought that if the website displays as safe by Norton or McAfee, visitors trust it and will be encouraged to visit the site.

Many thanks again :)

Mona, this is the Norton toolbar at work. I just loaded your site, no flags and no issues. Try this, flush the browser cache, close the browser if your using Google (as I do) before shutting down, click on the settings tab 3 lines at the top right. Click settings>history then choose "since the begging of time". Next click on extensions and disable the Norton toolbar, shut down Chrome. Restart the browser, click on settings>extensions and make sure the Norton toolbar was not enabled. Now load your site, there should be no issues. Don't forget to turn on the toolbar after this. Norton does this if the site is new, if this continues call Symantec support and see what they say. Norton doesn't know much about the site and so it goes into a grey area, this will stop when Norton has more info and indexed it as safe. If you call, you want to know how to speed this up. Let me know how things go.

Best!
