So I have watched one off Jay's fantastic seminars yesterday. This time it was about creating star reviews with a plugin, which can get higher rankings and good for SEO, nice and easy !

Let me try to explain my problem with this.

So, I have a few articles that review just 1 product, so I have updated those with the help of a star review plugin.

But, most of the time, I review several items in one post. I can't seem to do that any other way mostly, because just reviewing 1 item of Etsy for example, would look weird. So usually I work with themes in my niche, like 'christmas miniatures' , halloween miniature, miniature books etc.

My question is, would it really make a huge difference in ranking to use star reviews plugin all the time or not so much? If I would be really adviced to do so, I would need to find a way to change my strategy for reviewing.

How would you guys do this? Or maybe I am just overthinking this, but that's me ;-)

Thanks !

I would say not so much since Jay pointed out that they are not guaranteed to show up!

You only add the star schema to posts in which it would be beneficial to the searcher.

If, as you say, you review multiple products in one post, you wouldn't add the schema because the stars wouldn't make sense in the search listings. It could, in fact, potentially be deemed as misleading as they may see 5 stars when they've searched for a product that you actually rated as 1 star, etc.
