What LittleClaire said. You can have it ignore "local" clicks. But I find I get a much better hit count if I don't :)

Yes it does, so you should filter them out:

Is there a way to filter ranges of IP addresses?

Whenever I'm using the wifi at my local coffee shop or library, I get assigned a new IP address each time I connect. (Each of those addresses is within a 256-address range but the exact address changes every time I connect.)

My home ISP changes my IP address every two weeks or so as well. (It also remains within the same 256-address range.)

It will be unless you have put a filter on so your IP address isn't tracked..

Screenshot attached hopefully will explain how to do it.. let me know if not.

Hey Stu
I think it can take 24 hours for some filters to be applied.. don't know why. I just set a new referral spam filter this morning and that what what it told me. Looks like what Nathaniell posted and the screenshot I gave you are the same, only the interface has changed a little since Nate made the training video.. so they should be identical..
But anyway, glad you got it sorted finally :)
Just don't forget that if you access your site from any other devices (mobile/ipad etc.) to apply a filter for those too.. and remember that your IP address will change if you connect to a different network.
