Hi WAers;

What do you do when you have a post that would work equally well in 2 different menu categories? Will it create duplicate content on your site? What's the general thinking about that?

Thanks,
Stella :-)

i have always learnt that you ue one category and then use tags to link it to the other category.
but everyone is different - so go with what you feel is right.
remember your visitors will see your post twice on your site when browsing your categories...good experience?
would you have the same porttion of text in two chapters of a book?- i see categories as chapters.
but you can have it linked ot any number of words in the index
have fun

Yes, I have only run into this a couple of times, where I really couldn't decide. Usually it's a obvious choice with the categories I have now.

I appreciate you explaining your process,
Stella :-)

You can definitely put a post into more than one category but try to not have too many categories.

Yes, on one site I did struggle a bit with keeping the categories manageable, but I think I have it solved now.

Appreciate your response,
