100,000 Words!
So I posted my 64th and 65th Articles just a few minutes ago, and they finally pushed me past the 100,000 word mark for my website. I'm actually sitting at 102,171 words but who's counting... oh yeah, I AM!
Anyway, because I'm still struggling a little with the Migraine (my Emgality was late and I just took the shot his morning) I'm a little behing my goal for the monthly word count, but I'm sure I'll get there. So far this month, I've posted 6 articles and 9,772 words. I should be around 9 articles and 12,000 words by now.
At the end of the month, I'm going to reach out to Google and see if I can get approved for AdWords. I'll need to tweak the front page a bit before I do that. There are some styling issues in my main content block that I need to figure out, and I want to clean up the sidebar some.
This month, I'm expecting to hit about 35k page views, but getting Ads up will be a decent source of supplementary income once I'm further along. If I'm turned down for AdSense, I'll try them again once I'm at the 100k page views per month mark.
My point is, that if you're turned down by Google AdSense, just get your content up and page views growing and then go back to them. Eventually they will see you are legit and you'll get in. The same with any Affiliate Program.
Sadly my head is exploding after the few short hours I've managed to work already today, so I'm going to grab an ice pack and then crash for a short time. I'll be back with the goal of getting another article writte, edited, and posted today. I already have two in line for tomorrow, but they need some more work.
The article I'm writing to post today is about the fictional chatbots in South Park... yeah, I'm serious. I have to watch South Park, write a little bit, and then post it. It is very indirectly related to my topic, and it will only provide me with one or two page views per month until I get more traction, but it will expand my most important content section at the moment.

I don't know anything about chatbots but I would be interested in learning more. Can you suggest anything I should read?

I understand, I know a bit about them and won't be adding one until I have at least 100 articles up total and enough traffic to warrant it. Eventually, I'm hoping I'll be able to figure out how to have a demo of each one of the chatbots I am reviewing along with the review.
