Kyle told us we could become experts

Yes, Kyle does teach us how to become subject matter experts and if I doubted that, then I know better now. I have learned so much from researching and creating my blog posts. Sometimes it amazes me.

For instance, this past weekend I was able to lose almost 5 pounds when I created a Challenge for myself using some of the things I've learned and blogged about. My 5 pounds in 3 days challenge used 3 things I've learned in my research and that I have blogged about in the past.

The Unknown

All three things I included in my "5 Pounds in 3 Days" challenge were things I learned in researching and writing for my diabetes blog site. (It's on my list of sites to the bottom right). All three things were something I would never have considered doing 5 years ago before I joined WA and began blogging.

Live and Learn

I think of myself as a perpetual learner - I've always enjoyed learning (in classes or just in my prolific reading hobby). Being a member of WA just allowed me to learn a lot more, specifically about WordPress and Affiliate Marketing. I'm loving it and actually learn more every day. Between Jay's weekly webinars and the terrific training by Kyle and Carson and the other WA members - there is no lack of opportunity to learn. And that's not even counting the research I do when creating my blog posts.

Are You a Learner?

I'm almost 65 years old, retired, and still love to learn. What about you?

Like you, I am a learner. I've learned so much from WA.
Congrats on losing those 5 pounds!

I hope that you have a wonderful week.

Shirley,

I have learned a great deal just being here at WA, I have
always loved to read and learn new things but affiliate
marketing was one that has haunted me for years. I
wasted many years and way to much money on scram
and shiny object syndrome but now I have found the real
diamond in WA.
As for research and still learning I am 62 years old and
loving every minute of it :)

I spend more time at the library than I do at home or the gym. If you are not learning, you are not growing.

I have loved to learn about different historical events. Studied history in University. WA is a great place to use my love for learning and understanding why things are the way they are. Allows me to create useful content to share.

Each day, each new thing we learn molds us a little more into experts on whatever it is we are doing. The more we are exposed to something, the more our knowledge grows.

Tony Robbins stated Inuit have 12 words for the different types of snow that exist. Most people from the south of the United States would have just one, snow. So Inuit people are more experts with snow then people from southern USA.

It’s been over 20 years since I graduated from college and I’m back in school again and loving it. Just moments from taking my organic chem exam now. What attracted me to this site was not only the Buisness opportunity but the massive opportunity to learn something completely new.

Cheers to learning new things regardless of age! It’s definitly what keeps life fun and engaging!

Lovely post :)

Jessica

Organic Chemistry - wow! My sister has a Ph.D. in that. - Shirley

Whoa!! Now that’s one intelligent women!

We are the same age as you and learning something new every day! WA keeps our brains active and we take care of our bodies with daily exercise.
Congratulations on losing the 5 lbs!
Have a great week,
Colette and Philip

Shirley, you think and write perfectly. Continue, we are interested.

Thanks, at my age its nice to know the brain is firing correctly. -Shirley

That's awesome about the 5 pounds and will have to check out your site!

I love learning, and before joining WA, I was chronically enrolled in online classes. I know it's cliche, but knowledge is power.

Have a great day of learning new things!
Gina

Yes, like you I do a lot of online classes. Signed up for over 40 on udemy alone.

I am 54 and couldn't stop learning even if I wanted. My mind does not stop. I am a questioner, I want to know how things work and why. Busy as I am, I do love the times I finally find to write my posts. I think when you stop learning, when you don't open yourself up to new things, you become stagnant and life loses a lot of its color.

Great for you! Keep it up! And know there are others like me who are doing it right alongside of you!
Joanne

For me, blogging is sharing experiences and helping people

Yes, that's so true and knowing how to help them is an awesome feeling. - Shirley
