What are the objections you have hear or had yourselves about WA membership?

I'm going through an exercise to determine what objections potential WA members can have to signing up for WA Premium Membership. I need help brainstroming.

The ones I thought of plus adding Darrens and Brenda's were:

What is Affiliate Marketing, I have never heard of it
Why should I join a community to learn affiliate marketing?"
Will I be able to make money next week?
How quick will I make money?
Can I make money as a starter member?
Does it work or is it just a scam?
I have never started a website before.
Don't have much computer experience.
What am I going to write about?
What is a Niche?
I hate writing
English is my 2nd language, what should I do, will this work for me?
I have a disability, how can I do this, is this inclusive for all?
How much will it cost me in the long-term?
Can't afford, too High monthly membership fee?
How much work am I going to have to do?
Websites are not profitable these days?
Not enough time to do lessons and implement tasks?
I just don't think I can do that? Does this involve selling? I don't sell!
The Starter Membership (trial) is not available in my country
I have tried many other things why is this the one that will work?
Fear of failure, waste of time and effor

Can you help think of additional objections a potential member might have? Leave your comments below please.

Thanks - Shirley

Can I do it in 30 minutes a day?
How much money are YOU making?
Does this involve selling? I can't sell.

You have come up with a good list, Shirley. Now all we need to do is to figure out how to overcome each of those objections.

Yes, I'm learning sales funnels right now and in my sales funnel, I need to address these objections. I'm going to try and group them into similar groups and work on an irresistible offer that my target audience can't refuse. For instance, in addressing the "what do I write about" and what's a "niche", I'm going to prepare a free special report I can give them talking about niches, how to choose one, etc. I'll come up with other free books, guides and reports and information to address all the concerns I come up with from this WA post. At least I hope I can do that - that's my intent.

Good idea...hope it works out beautifully. You are ambitious, but hey, that's how you move forward.

Hi Shirley,

Did you have:

"No money cannot afford It"

Stuart

kinda, I have "Too High monthly membership fee?" Thanks, I know the cost puts many off. I did me at first until I realized that discounts like paying annually and the Black Friday Specials would bring the monthly fees down to only $25. Also, I would save money on hosting elsewhere because of the free hosting for up to 25 paid domains and up to 25 subdomains. Then I decided to offer website design customers hosting as part of the website design and make money on those payments. It all pays for my WA annual fees.

Thanks for this, agree regarding all the incentives that you can get, a reason that I joined as well.

This is based on someone's comment that I read recently. "Why should I join a community to learn affiliate marketing?"

Great list of objections by the way, very useful for affiliates!

Thank you, I've added it.

The starter membership is not available in my country (India).

Well, Sukumarth, that is definitely an issue. Thank you.

It "used to be" not available. Now it is, and so is the $19 for the first month - because that is what I'm on :-).

Free starter membership available in India? That's good news!

Yes, that is good news! Thanks.

Hi, Sukumarth.
Yes, it became available in April of this year. The only country not eligible is Nigeria.

Here is the conversation I had with Kyle:

Nice to hear from you again.

Paul @PMindra

I'm not interested!

My purpose in this exercise is to realize what would make a potential new member not want to join WA. If we can figure out what the problems visitors to our sites see with joining WA, then we can address those objections in our ads, WA reviews, and sales funnels when we promote WA's training and platform. That would help every WA member who has a Bootcamp site.

I might be interested in a few months time.

JKulk1, you've been a member for over a year, right? I'm gathering objections that should be addressed in our marketing for our Wa bootcamp sites. Are you working on a Bootcamp site to promote WA membership?

I did start about 8 months ago but haven't really gotten into it.

I did realize that, but I have a marketing background and found that to be a common objection. Time. Jim

ok.

-I hate writing.
-English is my second language, I cant write.
- I have a disability, I cant do this.
-Will it work for me as a second English language?
-is this inclusive for all?

This comes from me as Deaf and Disabled person and English is my second language.

Good ones, thanks so much for your input.

How quick am I going to make money?
Can I make money as a starter member?
What am I going to write about? What's a niche?
Great top 5 Shirley.

Thanks so much Mick, I've added yours to the list.

Hello Shirley, some of the things I hear are:
1- What is Affiliate Marketing, I have never heard of it.
2- Will I be able to make money next week.
3- Does it work or is it just a scam.
4- I have never started a website before.
5- Don't have much computer experience.
6- How much will it cost me in the long-term.
7- How much work am I going to have to do.
8- Websites are not profitable these days.
9- I just don't think I can do that.
10- I have tried many other things why is this the one that will work.
I hope that is helpful.
All the best
Darren :)

Thanks Darren, great list - I've added them to mine.

Go for it. They make the training really easy to follow and there are a lot of people in WA who can help with advice as well.

I totally agree Lennay. But I'm trying to list all the potential objections so I can address them to potential new members.
