Dealing with writer's blog and completion issues

For the last 3 weeks, I've found myself pretty frustrated because I can't seem to create content. I have started several blog posts but not finished them. I'm not sure why I'm having so much trouble.

But I know that my first bout with "gout" has had a lot to do with it. I never knew gout could cause so much pain. I've been treating myself with natural and home remedies and finally it seems to be getting better. This was worse than when I had carpal tunnel issues during my workforce days. For one entire week, my wrists and hands hurt so much that i couldn't type or even write with a pencil. My WA rank has took a big hit from being ranked around 50 to over 130 now.

Then, that got better but the pain and swelling in my right elbow and knee was still bad. Finally, this third week, My elbow is better and i can lift my arm over my head again and almost brush my hair with that hand/arm. I'm pretty much dealing with just the right knee and its pain/stiffness/swelling this week. Much worse in the morning but better toward midway after meds and a hot massage bath.

I think the pain has discouraged me and put in into a small depression that is affecting my writing ability. So I've been listening to my Law of Attraction tapes and working on my self perception and positive attitude.

Working on a different site?

I've been pondering creating a new post on a website I had set aside for later. The website is about creating Salads. All my research into gout has given me an incentive to remove certain foods from my diet and add others that will help with gout. I'm wondering if this is the time to start work on this old website and domain. I figure I will be thinking a lot about what food I should eat to prevent another gout attack for a while now - I really don't want to go through that again.

The sites I have been working on are my WA bootcamp site and my diabetes site for most of this year. I'm wondering if I should add this 3rd site to my efforts now. I know that's really not the best thing to do (work on multiple sites) but my mental ability to write for my bootcamp and diabetes site has disappeared and I'm not really writing anything right now. Maybe the salad site will give me the passion to write content again.

What do you think?

Sorry to hear you were/are in pain, but on a better note...glad to see you’re also on the mend. If you’re heart says to go with they salad site go for it. It will be therapeutic for you. Youll use the pointers yourself and it’ll move you in the right direction for your business on top of that. But, the bigger thing is that you’ll also be helping others with the same battles with gout. My mom had gout and there are countless others I work with on my 40-hour job that also suffer from it. They would benefit from a website that recommends a diet regiment that you have already done the research for. Whatever you choose to do, I wish you the best!

If you’re not writing about anything then writing about something (salads) is better than not writing at all. I’m in to rabbit food so I say go for it!

Hello there, your positivity shines through the pain and suffering you've been through, and I'm sorry you have and are going through it. I am passionate about all organic food and I think you are definitely going in the right direction to cure your ailment.
I've just started and still going through the very beginning of the training with WA, I decided to opt for the bootcamp training and have so far felt very much connected to the people in this community.. your blog had me compelled to read it to the end ... May you have a speedy recovery and good health ...

For me I would say go with the feeling that hits the sweet spot ..

Sorry to hear about the pain you are in. Colette's dad suffered from gout. The pain is excruciating sometimes. Has your doctor ever recommended warm wax paraffin for your hands? We used to use this on clients in our spa and for ourselves as we worked so much with our hands. Not expensive to purchase and might help.
We would say focus on feeling a bit better and elevating your mood with whatever makes you happy before working on any sites at all. Take care of you first.

My mom had rheumatoid arthritis and she did the heated wax for her hands as I remember. I didn't even think about that. I used ice packs and then the hot pad, as well as CBD oil, water with apple cider vinegar, Uricel drops and lots of water. I've been eating more banana's and celery and adding tumeric to my food. Trying to eat more veggies than I used to as well. Gradually it seems to be getting better. Thanks for the suggestion. Shirley

There had been much said about “attracting” good health. Perhaps some high quality rest time, meditation and focus on your law of attraction sessions. All the best.

yes, I'm working on attracting health. - shirley

Wishing you relief from pain , follow your heart in regards to this salads website,if you feel passionate enough about it I think you will be motivated to write out content for it.
Best of luck
Florence.

Thanks for sharing, Shirley.

I hear you Shirley and only you know what you are capable of and you also know how much work is needed to build great sites
All the best in whatever you decide to do

Well pain definitely can cause ones mind to be blocked from writing. But you need to ask yourself will starting a new site revamp your writing, and you're the only one who can answer that question.

I say give it try, if it works for you that's great. If it doesn't back to square one.
I think the salad idea will work and at the same time help with your gout. You will be focus on the right things to eat and eliminate from your diet.

Hope this helps
Pete
