How soon did you make money with your WA website?

Question for WAers?

Still working on my research addressing objections to WA.

1. How soon did you make your first $$ with WA?

For myself, I dilly-dallied with the training and implementing all the tasks, (some of the delay was serious health issues, also I worked on too many sites - a NO-NO), especially the monetization of my website(s). I was a Premium member for 3 years before I even began monetizing my blog sites with affiliate links (from Amazon to start). I started getting small commissions from Amazon during that third year before my 180 day probation was over with Amazon. Also later that 3rd year I sold my website building and design services to my first small business client. During year 4 and 5, I've made enough to pay all my WA dues, but definitely not reaching my financial goals yet.

Also a 2nd question?

2. Did you make money as a starter member or after you upgraded to Premium?

I became a Premium Member on Day 3 of my trial week, so everything i've made has been after becoming a Premium Member.

If you would, please answer these 2 questions below. After I have tallied all my research I will be glad to share with the community.

Thanks, Shirley

1. After 5 months.

2. Premium member

1. I have not finished the WA training and have not made any money off of my website. However, I have made money off of my Instagram account and having an affiliate marketer link in the bio of my IG account.

2. I upgraded to Premium after a week of the free training.

Great blog post! Love this!

Anna

Hi Shirley,
I upgraded to premium within my first month here, and have been working at my website as much as I can in and around a busy life, for 6 months.
I have not made any money yet.
I have linked to Amazon, plus a few other affiliate programs.

What I have learned during this time with WA is absolutely mind boggling! I'm really having a great time with all of this. I find it so rewarding, and yes, fun.
Of course I have a partner who has a regular job that covers all expenses, and allows me to plonk along like this and not be too stressed out that I'm not making $$ yet.
:)

Hi Shirley,
I joined WA in March this year and went Premium once the free trial was over (wanted to find out fully what this was all about before making a money commitment)

In these 5 months, I have been up and down as far as time spent on building my site. It has 30 blogs attached to it now, and I'm using 3 different affiliate links/companies (Amazon being one).

So far, no sales to report, but I realise I have more work to do to get the rankings up.
My wife and I have also started working on a 2nd site, but aren't putting a lot of time into it at this point.

I guess everyone goes at the pace that life allows ;)

Nice topic!
Tom

Yes, everyone has their own pace and you will eventually start getting more traffic and sales.

1. not yet, after a few months but not much time to put into WA as I finish a memoir.
2. went to premium within a few days

This is great question give indication where are you among others.

For me i was not have enough time cause was engage with the family, i didn't still monetize website, struggling a bit with suitable Theme, cause the current one is free and not supported and give me some headache.
i become premium after 6th day for joining.
Regards,

I would love to hear the answers here and see where I am.

1). I was here about a year before small amounts of money started dribbling in.
2). Same as you, I became premium after day 3
Jim

Great, thanks Jim, I remember lots of members saying about a year before they made money.

Hi Shirley,
I've been doing this for 6 weeks and saw my first income, a tiny amount after just over a month. I focused on website, published 25,000 words across 24 articles and promoted them heavily on social media.
First of all I became an Amazon affiliate, then I hooked up with AdSense as soon as I could, plus another advertising site called VigLen. Yesterday I had my first approvals from a half dozen affiliate promoters so am starting to add their links to my site.
It's been really hard work but I think it's looking good.
In answer to your second question, I went Premium after two days, and it's been so worth it in terms of training and technical support.
I look forward to reading the results of this survey, and good luck with your business.
Lisa

Thanks Lisa, you are doing great. I think most start with Amazon and Adsense - although I have made very little with Adsense so far.

Good morning Shirley.
I signed up to premium in July after my first week with WA.
My own site is still in the making and have not monetized it yet.
However my wife has had a crafting blog for a while and we used what I have learnt from Kyle's training to help build her blog and YouTube.
This weekend she had 2 small sales and is over the moon.
Far from financial independence, as we are looking to have something in place by the time we retire in a few years, but definitely a step in the right direction.
Best wishes
Gaz

Thanks Gaz, Its cool both you and your wife are learning through WA. I can understand her being very excited - I would be too. You have a great goal for retirement finances. Best wishes.
