OK Google sees WA links as a spam. What now? How to proceed from here?

Google in General doesn't accept any form of Affiliate links, especially that of Wealthy Affiliate

I had that happen to me, Google+ doesn't allow WA post links and considers them spam. You can post a link to your website, but they flag you if it's a link to a WA blog.

I'm glad you asked this question. I haven't had this happen, but would like to know the reasoning behind it. Thank you!

I'm glad you brought this up. While this has not happened on my end, I have been reading the responses you have, and learned something new.
Hope this works out for you, and you get some answers as to what happened.

I remember reading about something pretty much the same and the general consensus was to ignore, possibly spam. Hope things work out.

We seem to recall this came up a few weeks ago and the general consensus then was that, as Jennifer says, Google + considers this to be spam. It seems it's okay to have a link to your website but not to WA.

I've never personally experienced this, but have a feeling it falls into the same realm as why Pinterest won't accept WA links. It's perceived as spam, when in reality it really isn't. Sorry to hear this happened to you, if all else I guess it's a learning experience.

Apparently this is a common occurrence in Google +. From what I hear, they don't like anything with WA affiliate postings.

I do post the odd article but the affiliate link is within the post.

I am sure many others can shed more light on this as, like I said, it is quite common.

Did you post a link in the title by any chance as This had happened before? X

Yes i posted a link to a WA community post and I mentioned Wealthy Affiliates in my message.

If you post a link in the title it gets marked as spam with google. If you post the link in the box under the title - towards your content that has that link in it will work if you get what I mean :)

So basically if you have a post with an affiliate link in, post the url to that post not the actual affiliate link itself. X

Thanks.
