use the snipping tool in windows. Find it and right click and add to your taskbar for future reference.

I would suggest to install Jing of Techsmit, here is a training about it

I use jing and it's easy to use to make a screenshot

It sure is, and I do like it so much that you can screenshot any part of your screen with it:)

I had asked a similar question months ago, but couldn't remember how to do it; Wozzy's reply seems to be the easiest. I just tried it...it just took seconds!

Or you could to https://monosnap.com download the free version and make full page screen shots, or just the part of a page you want? Then draw arrows and write on the image if you like?

Good Morning Sarah,

This question you had a short while ago and I answered it.
I will try again but my answer is already on your post: Learning about screen Shots.

On your keyboard, normally at the top to the right, you will find PrtSc. it means= print screen shot. This one you have to click when on your computer screen you have the piece you want to make this screenshot of.

Then you go to the place where you want it to become visible.
You press Ctrl, this is normally at the bottom of your keyboard, I have it to the left. You keep it pressed while you click on V.
Now you should see it appear on your screen.

Good Luck, Taetske

That's how I do it too, Taetske...

I will try this. Sorry I have been so slow in responding.. I have been very sick for the last 2 weeks/

I am sorry to hear that Sarah.
I hope you are feeling better now, take care.

As Paul says .. depends if you have Windows or a MAC .. I have a MAC and it is easy. Here is the link with Apple Support. Cheers, William.

1. On your keyboard press "Prt Sc Sys Rq", other keyboard is read as "Print Screen", don't release it.
2. Then point your mouse pointer on any part of your screen, then press "Ctrl + C". You can now release everything.
3. Go to your "paint" by pointing to the Start button of your computer. Open your paint and paste what you have copied
4. Press "Select"
5. Put your mouse pointer to the part you want to copy and slide to select.
6. Then press "Crop"
7. Save it as "PNG picture" to where you want to store.
8. Use it to where you want to.

I have windows and I use a Toshiba.

fn+the windows flag to the right, press together + press PRTSC

Then go to your target and paste

You win a golf star, Mick! I had forgotten how to do a screenshot and was just too embarrassed to ask...again. I just tried this and it worked perfectly! Easy Breezy! Thanks!

Hey Veronica, not a Gold Star?

Glad it helped.

I have many years in software development behind me and asking anybody anything was a complete nightmare especially as I was freelance at the time.

Asking within the WA community is not a problem and besides who gives a damn if they have a laugh about it, they certainly aren't going to tell you are they?

Just ask away, and don't be embarrassed about anything!

Mick

I can assure you that I am not shy about asking questions, Mick or. What made me feel silly was that I actually printed the instructions and I couldn't find where I put them!

The WA platform truly is a comfortable environment, one I believe allows anyone to ask just about anything. But...the flip side of the coin is that we have to take responsibility. So if I asked something once, I believe it's my responsibility to save those answers. I'm not preaching here, just sharing what I like to do and what works best for me.

Sarah do you have a MAC or PC

paul

Good question :)

I have a PC
