For product reviews, what do you think about linking to the mfg's owners manual (which is a PDF). I think it would be helpful but don't know if that would hurt with rankings.
What are your thoughts on linking to the mfg owners manual?

What about selectively quoting from the manual; for example a selective quote that would answer a question that YOU as a potential buyer would probably have.
At the base of the "sales funnel", when someone is ready to take action, you have to be careful not to distract them from clicking on that affiliate link to the product.

If I add an "About the Author" box with a brief bio (aka mini-about me) to the bottom of each post and review, will Google count that as duplicate content? I see other people
is there a plug in you recommend for that? My theme doesn't have an end of post widget area.
You could call your "About Me" page "About The Author" and simply include a link to that page. Google likes internal linking.

That box should be a summary of your About Me page, so it's better for it to be a little different and not verbatim. It's not duplicate content either, since both are hosted under the same domain :)

Here are the details:
For the keyword: "what is the best rated coffee maker" the keyword tool is telling me: Searches - 299 Traffic - 51 & QSR - 7.
The longer the title the more keywords you're targeting. 'what is the best rated coffee maker on amazon' targets 'what is the best rated coffee maker' and 'best rated coffee maker on amazon'. It even targets 'best rated coffee'.
Thank you - I thought it worked this way.... I needed some clarification because it was getting all jumbled. Thanks so much!
