K.I.S.S. The battle to keep the learning process simple.

We've all heard it said if you like, or better yet love what you're doing for your career you'll never work another day in your life. So true, and yet for many of us this has proven to be easier said than done. I have been searching for what seems like a lifetime, actually I HAVE been searching for a lifetime. That being MY lifetime for just that.. a business that I was "Passionate" about.

Well last week I FINALLY realized that my Love for writing could be utilized in the world of Online marketing and I'm here to tell you... I was thrilled beyond belief. I was that little boy in the candy store with the American Express Black Card and no credit limit!

Okay, Now that the seemingly impossible had been accomplished, NOW WHAT? Well Rome wasn't built in a day and from past experience I obviously knew this was going to take some time to become successful and that it would require some, actually a lot of baby steps. After all you can only eat the proverbial elephant "One bite at a time!" Of course you know what that elephant represents in this case.

Stumbling upon WA was the reason this all came together in my mind, heart, and belief system to begin with. I had already failed in the online world once. I had only tasted a small, short term amount of positive results. Certainly nothing that even remotely represented an income you could "Survive" on let alone live a life with time and financial freedom. WA, from what I could see last week, and still can see, is a great program backed by a strong community of support designed to break down this very complex world. It all starts behind the scenes. When done right,everything comes across user friendly, seamless and effective, ultimately helping you achieve your desired results.

Professionals, whether it be in the sports or business world are classic examples of just that. They've systematically been trained, through discipline, tackling each skill no matter how small one at a time. Now that I have a better idea of just how hard it is to accomplish this I realize just how important it is to tackle the training process on the back end slowly but surely. Patience is key which isn't always easy but as mentioned earlier this is what the True Pros do and eventually bite by bite that elephant disappears and they reap the rewards!!!

Being hungry to learn how to be successful in business I also subscribe to and follow other avenues of information and instruction. One of those is from Entrepreneur magazine on fb. I receive anywhere from one to two dozen articles a day from them and up until now I have cherry picked the ones that have proven to be the most applicable. Up until now the articles were never about online marketing, email marketing, or anything having to do with the online world. Well that has all changed since the cookies on my pc, that undeniable footprint left behind from being on Wealthy Affiliates website for a mere 6 days. Now 75% of all articles from Entrepreneur magazine in one shape or form have to do with the online world and the different avenues that are available

Suddenly what was once a blessing had become a curse. I was getting so buried by advice and direction from all these articles I was finding it next to impossible to keep it simple. I've found myself suddenly feeling victimized. I've realized I need to stop looking at all these other sources for at least the time being until I have somewhat of a foundation. Instead of eating the elephant one bite at a time, it felt like somebody was figuratively trying to feed me the whole thing at once. Not good. I was getting confused and finding myself trying to put the cart before the horse which we all know doesn't work. The single most important realization I came to was that this was stealing my joy. Passion and excitement was replaced by the feeling of oh my goodness, I'm not doing enough. I need to to this, and that. and ......... Choke choke choke. If left unchecked I could see myself literally being choked to death and giving up.

So after all this, and I am getting better, but still am not a man of few words, I've realized I need to stop reading all the other information that is endless and rely upon the obviously proven system that WA has put together that's designed to walk you through the process bite by bite till that elephant is gone, and the success flows. There's a TON of information and training right here. There is no need that I can see for the beginner like myself to go anywhere else.

So K.I.S.S. Keep it simple salesmen or saleswoman.

It's my profound hope this blog will help some of you who may have or or experiencing this to stay focused and keep it simple allowing you to lay that proper foundation so you can create campaigns that will benefit your followers with valuable information which will in turn nurture trust in you and ultimately the ability to turn those strong relationships into a profit in whatever online avenue you choose to pursue. Now THAT is the definition of a Win Win situation.

ps... I do have to say that after all of this talk of eating this elephant it most DEFINITELY could use a little salt or seasoning of some sort... perhaps even a little barbecue!
