I'm in need of some serious help understanding WordPress themes. I've been watching the training videos both within and outside of WA but I just can seem to get my head around
WordPress, like anything else, is a learning curve. Most people struggle with understanding how to use it when they first start. What specifically do you have a problem with?
I'm struggling with the widgets the most. The new theme that I just activated has a lot of options and I don't know how to figure out what they do.
Most themes have tutorials about how to use them. However I have to say it is easier to choose one that looks more or less like you want a blog to look. The chances are when you become more proficient at WordPress you will upgrade to a paid theme anyway

Hey Stephanie,
You should be selecting a theme that offers you the layout you want and not having to tweak one to your liking. I would recommend you find a theme more to your liking and spend more time with the lessons.
