Hey friends,

This is very interesting. I don't even understand, ,I have four referrals so far but NO conversion. Not even one of them took the necessary steps to complete his or account set up.

What do you think I am not doing right? Please let me know your thought on this.

Thanks

Congrats!! You are probably doing everything correctly. Just make sure to continue to stay in contact with your referrals and let them know what an AWESOME platform WA is.

Sometimes people just need time to think and act at their own pace. Just keep in touch with them.

Good luck...

T

Thanks friend

Anytime..thanks for your input on my domain question!

T

congratulations

Thank you too friend

Getting referrals is the first step, so you are on the right track. Four is a low number to determine what you doing right or wrong. Shoot for 65 and see what happens. My number was 33 at the beginning when I was consistent with my campaign.

So if I wanted 10 to convert, I had to aim for 330. Just saying. And then you may consider refining your campaign or looking at the audience you attract. Hope that helps.

Hey friend thanks a lot. But just a question, what campaign are you talking about

Bing Ads, Phase 6 in Affiliate Bootcamp.

Here is a great number of options Stephen. Many have a marketing spin but the principle is the same! https://blog.kissmetrics.com/101-conversion-tips-to-help-improve-your-website/

Very thankful, Mark

I feel your pain, so far I have 7 referrals and only one has even shown enough interest to fill in their profile. We can not make anyone join, but just keep getting them to come and see what can be done and eventually they will join. Good luck.

Thank you for this friend

I definitely know what you mean on that one.

Thanks friend

No problem.

I have been here for quite some time, though I have only been actively promoting WA for several months. In that time, I have had three referrals.

When the first one came, I was thrilled. I was very excited about it, but they never filled in their profile. Oh well. A couple of weeks later, two others joined and did fill in their profiles. One of them was very active his first day, asking questions, blogging, commenting... I was sure I would see him go Premium, but both of those referrals disappeared after their first day.

Sometimes people just want to look around a bit before committing at a later date. Sometimes they realise it's not a good match for them. That doesn't mean you are doing something wrong; in fact, I'd say getting referrals at all means you're doing something right.

Figure out what drew those 4 people here and keep doing more of it. More people will come, and some will definitely convert.

Great, Craig, well appreciated. You have indeed encouraged me to keep on.

Well said, Craig!

Maybe there is something you need to fine tune or update, Stephen. Why not take some time to go over the Certification to make sure you haven't overlooked anything.

There is plenty of training on referrals, if you haven't already, spend some time to really going through the training. If you come across one that really connects with you, reach out to the author by sending them a PM, thanking them for their training. If you still feel a bit stuck, reach out to them to ask specific questions. I have never been refused and denied help whenever I sent someone a PM, Stephen. But again, I would suggest to just send a PM to one or two people.

I have 3 referrals no premium

Ok. for my they didn't even complete their account set up.

HahaHa. Mine Same.

Meaning through your site had led those four persons to WA but it does not automatically mean you will have conversion unless they sign up and engage in the Online Entrepreneur Certification Course and much better if they move up to the premium membership you will have a commission.

Thanks friend.

You are welcome.

Dear Friend i do faced the same (4 referrals not even set their account) but from many members i came to know that its not in our control... For example if a visitor sign up and just goes off and never coming back what can we do.... Some call this as ghost referrals .... Bringing them is the first step and once they see the worth of the platform and when they take action and shows the urge and interest at least a bit (i.e setting up their account, writing their goals, mainly going through the platform to find out what it contains etc) then only we can involve and motivate and guide and help them.... Apart if he is not going to login again after his sign up we can't do much about it... So don't worry ... Focus on increasing the numbers and bringing more traffic by writing quality content....Hope this helps...

Thank you Paul, well appreciated. I thought I was the only one.

This individual just above, (StPaul) provides the best possible answer to your dilemma, Stephen. We all go through it recruiting people who have very little intent in upgrading to the premium level, unfortunately, as they're not that serious and willing to commit to what it really takes to create a profitable online business.

Many referrals who join WA, seeing that it is free, (but with severe limitations regarding how much access is available regarding the entire program) and some on what I call it akin to a "lark" are nothing but "tire-kickers". StPaul refers to them as "ghost" referrals. It's too bad that we have to deal with these people, but really there is nothing that truly can be done about it.

If you have your messaging set-up correctly in the WA affiliate program, give out some free incentives, provide some guidance and inspiration through articles posted by some of the Super affiliates, (and of course this IS allowed here at WA), other than that you really can't squeeze one of the person's arms anymore then you're already doing.

You also don't want to come across as the used car salesperson, begging the person to at least complete his/her account. Truly it would be beneath you to do that action. Completing the account by adding a photo and the person telling a little about him/herself is not rocket science. It also would take very little time, so truly if the person is serious about pursuing this venture. . . then he/she will do it. It's not that difficult and by doing so the person would be indicating that there is at least some basic interest in learning how to create an online business for him/herself.

No, your main focus should remain on continuing to add relevant and high quality written articles to your website that does provide help and benefits your readers.

Jeff

Hi, Jeff, any advice on getting the follow-up email for a new recruit. I have yet to complete mine. Just wrote on 1st and 2nd. I am reading many other members' first email to a new member, most seem the same as Kyle one.

Thanks friend for this

Thanks a lot Jeff. Well appreciated

Hi, sir! Based on what I have in my follow-up email, trying to entice a new recruit into at least filling out his/her bio and photo, I have based my message on the actual training offered here at WA.

In my message, I state that I have noticed that the referral has not yet completed his/her account. I then ask the individual if he/she somehow does not understand how it would be done. Assuming it to be the case, (which may or may not be true) I then provide a link to a training vid available here at WA which demonstrates how an account can be created: .

In the message, I then try and tell this individual that by filling out his/her actual bio/photo info that this would allow others to view him/her in a more positive frame of mind. The person would be more easily able to engage with other members of the WA community just by the fact that people here would be able to connect an image, (hopefully not one of the generic cars, picture of a dog or cat, or pictures of a flower with background scenery that is available in place of an actual photo of what this individual looks like facially) and small bio of the individual to his/her WA screen name.

It's all about being able to engage with others here at WA - especially if in the eventual case this new referral might need help.

I know that I would not take the time to engage with a new referral who has no account set-up, the only image of him/her available being a blank face.

I hope this helps!
Jeff
