How do I find out what plan of Word Press is currently active for my web site
There isn't a Pro version of WordPress as it's free, open-source, and licenced under the GPL.
If you're getting a message to upgrade to a "Pro" version of anything then it's either the theme or a plugin.
In your Website go to Dashboard > Updates to see which version of WordPress you're using and if there are any updates to WordPress itself or any of the plugins and themes installed on your site.
Hi Marion, this is a screen shot of their request,. Are you able to help me with what it means. Many thanks
That's Elementor suggesting that you upgrade their plugin to the Premium version. You most likely don't need to do that right now and maybe not ever.
Hi Steven,
Yeah, the system always ask for upgrade which I believed you talking about the All-in-one SEO pack pro.
But if it Wordpress itself, then Keishalina instruction and you will be fine.
You don’t have to upgrade now especially if you haven’t learn any of the advance stuffs to tell Google what to index or crawler, etc.
the online world provide us with so many free trial stuffs with the goal to advertise to us for upgrade; this is one of the old time and still effective marvelous business trick. Give free stuffs, people will give their information and allow you in them you can ask them to buy stuffs later and they will without questions.
Have a great day.

hey hi Stephen ....
good question and all questions are good ones here...
when you're in your selected website and in wordpress ... the version of WordPress that is active is stated across the Dashboard .... and sometimes, it'll indicate whether you need to update it as well ....
hope you find it quickly ... and if you continue to have a challenge with it, kindly let us know and we'll try to assist you in the best way possible
all the best .... cheerio .... :)
... appreciate your reply ... it may just have been an ad ....
keep well, stay strong .... :)
oh, and by the way, 'update' is only to update the current version and shouldn't have any cost involved .... wordpress is open source...
if you're 'upgrading' to PRO .... then there's likely a cost factor...
They wouldn't let us go any further without an upgrade to the pro version. I will send you a screen shot.
ok ... sure a screenshot would be helpful to see what's going on... sounds a wee bit unusual ....

You won't need to upgrade to any Pro version of anything with your Wealthy Affiliate membership. In this case, this is the Elementor theme asking you to upgrade in order to get certain features.
If you don't want to pay for their Premium service, you can continue to work on your site without the advertised featured you're trying to get, or you can change themes.

Stephen, it seems there are some good answers for you here--the WA community is a very good resource!
You can change that default phrase by going to Settings > General inside WordPress.
You can customize your All in One SEO settings by going to the All In One SEO tab (inside WordPress), then General Settings > Home Title.
Let me know if that works for you Stephen!
Hi Stephen,
On WordPress dashboard select "Appearance" and then "Customize". Go to SiteIdentity and change the tagline.
You enter your own meta description.
How to tidy up some problems around my web site and blog?

I have just about completed my first blog. I am having trouble formatting the final version. I am trying to get continuity with headings but sometimes the entire paragraph beco
Usually this is because you've got a single break, instead of double break in your paragraphs. Hitting enter a couple times usually gets your next paragraph out of that heading "zone" and gets the proper formatting.
You can check out what's going on in the background of your text by looking at the text editor: Fix Wordpress Text Spacing Issues
Hi! This may help you, Stephen: What is the best way to format my blog posts? Cheers!

Hi - are you writing it in Site Content? It can be a bit temperamental. Sometimes it is better to publish it as it is, and then correct it in WordPress.
Thanks Diane. Do you know how I can preview it or do I just publish and correct it in word press as you have suggested. If I correct it in Word Press how do I get to do that.
Hi - you can't preview it. Once you hit the publish button, a box will pop up asking you what you want to do next. Click edit in WordPress. Once you have finished editing, remember to click update, which will be on the right-hand side of the screen.
if you want to change it in WordPress you simply type in

You can look at revisions in the WordPress Dashboard as you're writing. I think Site Content has the same feature. That way you can choose a previous save if you don't like how it's progressing.
Thank you Palatia,
I looked and tried typing as well but no revisions.
And could not find a revisions in Site Content.
