The Journey So Far

It has been just under a month since I became a premuim member and here is what I have learned and accomplished in a relatively short amount of time:

  • The importance of locating a competent company and platform that teaches what you need to know not just to get started but to learn and thrive in the world of affiliate marketing.
  • The importance of community – sharing comments and stories, answering questions or just plain listening – it’s all part of the learning process.
  • I’m still learning how to navigate WordPress but I’m way farther along than I was a month ago.
  • The importance of researching and choosing the right keyword / keyword tail and the importance of incorporating these terms in your content. This is how search engines can find you and the easier it is to be found the higher the probability of being found by those searching for your product or service.
  • This is a process, but each step builds upon each previous step – Each success motivates you to continue onward.
  • I’ve always had a dream of owning my own domain, creating my own website and writing a blog and now I have all three! No more dreaming but lots of doing!
  • I’m learning that I can still learn new things and that it is easier to embrace change rather than resist it.
  • I have all I need to succeed right here at my fingertips - my success is up to me.

My first niche is probably more of an instructable on choosing the best quilting tools and instructing the easiest techniques needed to successfully create your first quilt. As the name implies my target audience are those just beginning to quilt or beginners who want to build upon the knowledge they already possess to take their skills to the next level.

I am currently completing level 2 training (step 10, task 3/5) and the gears in my brain are already generating more ideas to appeal to creatives who have always wanted to sew and quilt but never thought they would have the time or skill to finish what they have started. Much like how I felt when I first learned about WA. It wasn’t until I had the opportunity to “look around” and see what is possible I had the courage and confidence to embark on this journey.

I’ve never been a quitter – 2 college degrees, 2 careers, numerous certifications and advanced trainings and life filled with more downs than ups however, reaching this level is a success I could not have imagined – ever.

Level 3 is next and I’m not sure what that involves but I feel I now have a solid foundation and the confidence to tackle every task that lies ahead.

It is my hope that in 3 months I will know enough to be able to post a training video or tutorial that would be of benefit for others in the WA community and have at least have another website in the works.

You get more into $ in level 3. Fun times ahead!

That is good to know! Fun probably = a lot more work as well but I'm looking forward to it!

Research is key, isn't it? It is worth spending the time with Jaaxy and those keyword searches.
Good luck with level 3. Hang in there, you are doing great. It is a process.

Research...something I always dreaded in college but not so much here!

Thank you for the encouraging words!

You're right on track! Keep it up!

That's good to know. I'm not breaking any speed records but I don't feel like I'm standing still either!

Just keep moving forward and stay focus.

Thank you!
