New Year's Day and 1st Blog: Finding a New Path

My first blog and blog post. Wow! Who knew?

It is taking a little longer than anticipated and I still have a few activities to complete in Level 2, but I am through the Level 2 training videos. I even have my first basic components of a product sales website built. There is still much to do. However, you have to start somewhere and then keep working at it to achieve any kind of success. I am very familiar with that approach. The way to climb Mt. Everest is one step at a time. Another phrase I sometimes use is: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

The WA community is awesome. The help provided from other members keeps me afloat and moving forward. Thank y'all. And, the training is well put together. Thank you, Kyle.

So, here I am on New Year's Day thinking where am I, where am I going, and how do I get there as quickly and efficiently as possible?

Where am I?

I have started and gotten the basics down pretty well I think. Beginning to know my way around the WA community and meet other people. Much to learn but I do understand (I think) what I have learned so far. And, I have been able to complete the exercises.

Have the inklings of a website started. I have an understanding of what I want to do with the first website. Consider it a learning experience. And just want to get something out there in the public domain to adjust the levers and track changes. Success hopefully.

Where am I going?

I hope to have a two-prong approach. One, creating and monetizing product affiliate sales websites. Two a WA sales website.

The product affiliate website is in its infancy stages. But I have a concept and keyword with AVG of 114, QSR of 11, and the .com address available. I think I can still fine tune the keyword a bit before purchasing the .com address

Tine to start on the WA sales website.

How do I get there?

To accomplish these objectives I need to get through all of the basic training and the Affiliate Bootcamp Levels as quickly as possible. This will provide a foundation for growth and learning.

As I noted above, I have completed Level 2. Hence this blog post. I have to begin the Affiliate Bootcamp training. This is one of my goals for this first week of the New Year.

Another important goal is to get my wife engaged. Two heads are better than one. And, I need all the help I can get. She has a great sales sense and is very knowledgeable in a few niche markets like makeup, jewelry, and some electronics.

3-Month Goals

My three month goals are clear. First, finish the basic training. I know there is much more to learn and some in the WA community have been gracious enough to provide additional reading material and guidance.

Second, get my websites up and running. See how the ranking goes and hopefully start to generate sales.

Third, add additional ways to monetize the sites methodically.

Well, I think that's it for my first blog post. Hopefully, you noticed that I am trying to put the content writing lessons to use in this post ... heading, subheadings, and short paragraphs. Please send me your thoughts, comments, and suggestions.

Happy New Year

Steve
