Wow amazing end to holiday week! 11 Sales on Amazon!
I just wanted to check in quickly to log and report that whilst I have spent the last 4 days relaxing in the sunshine with my family, I have made 11 sales on Amazon and received the wonderful email that my I am now approved by Amazon as an official affiliate (associate).
I think I had been blocked from writing in fear that I would either not make the required sales in time, or they would take one look at my website and find that I had breached one of their 15 pages of rules. However, all was well, and all is well!
I am so excited and motivated now. The system works! I wake up every morning very excited to see what has sold. My family and I have delighted in finding out what wonders people have bought after clicking a link on my website.
The next milestone I hope to achieve is someone actually buying the item I have recommended, and increasing traffic to increase clicks, to increase sales. For now, I am truly grateful and very excited by my websites progress and success, for the training here at WA, and for the wonderful community of wisdom and support that has helped me achieve this exciting milestone.

I know. whilst I was sitting in the sun and the children were doing trampoline dance battles, my website was working! Doesn't get much better (well ok income times 1000, but that's just numbers and statistics lol)

Hi Sara, great news there. Very encouraging. How long were you an associate before getting this confirmation? Well done.
I have had my website 3.5 months and I have been an associate for 2.5 months. It all seemed to start happening at the 3 month milestone of my website. I had no sales and very little clicks, then in the last week had 101 clicks and the 11 sales, Not sure why, just going to enjoy it.

That is awesome Sara! You are on fire!!! That is an amazing number of sales considering how young your site is! I am truly impressed.
I have had a pretty good week too with 3 sales today including a blender (not in my niche) and 2 cat items and 2 pieces of cat furniture yesterday. If it somehow continues I could have my best month yet. The end of July was amazing, the beginning of August was good then things slowed down.
Isn't it great knowing we can add content any time we like, day or night, on any days of the week and then our sales can come in while we are doing other things like sleeping or spending time with family!!
Keep it up and you will be a huge success.

Someone bought coat hangers this morning :) I would say about 60% to 70% of my sales are cat (or nutrient for my other site) related products. The rest are totally random and have included ceiling fans, jeans, shoes, backpacks, cell phone accessories, food, books and other randomness.
