When you are on your About page, make sure you are in the visual tab and not the text tab. You can highlight the text you want to be linked and click on the icon above that looks like a chainlink in Wordpress and you can copy and past your link there.

Type the text in parenthesis below into Google and you will get videos walking you through the steps: "how do i add a link to my about page in Wordpress"
