Hey everyone!

I've recently been wanting to insert gifs into some of my posts, however am unsure of how to cite them or give the original owner due credit...does anyone h

With gifs, I'd say do your best research to find the earliest example. However, with the internet being the way it is, sometimes that's impossible. Gifs get passed around and "stolen" so much, it would be tough to track. You can link to the twitter or instagram post where you saw it, and personally, I think that's good enough!

You could also email the person and ask if they are the original creator as a legit "attempt" to find the owner in case it ever came into question.

I agree with you, as that makes sense. Thanks so much!

Do you mean copyrighted images? Have to be careful with posting these without permission from the owner. It can have an adverse action on you. At the very least, I would say below the image you can add a caption that says the owner and/or the owner's website where you got it from.

I'm not sure exactly how gifs are treated in terms of copyrights and ownership. But overall, yes. I would much rather be safe than sorry when it comes to copyrighted images.

Hello fellow affiliates!

I am just starting course 4 and have created a fb, twitter and pinterest account. However, I'd like to add some content to them by posting some

You can auto-post to social media, but then you won't have the option of writing unique content for the social media posts. It will just post an excerpt from the content (or meta description) and an image (usually your featured image).

If you want to post custom content to Facebook, with a link, then the best option is to do it manually.

Alternatively, you can schedule posting with something like HootSuite or Buffer, and those will give you options to write custom content!

Hi Sarah. Here is some more info to read if you want. Hennie

Hello,
Hope that all is well.

I was also wondering about this and I am sure that it will be discussed further into our training.

Did a quick search now and got this link, try it out.
Hope it helps.

Thanks so much Marion! The videos suggested inserting the photos as a gallery instead of individuals. Fixed the problem perfectly :)

Just finished inserting my first affiliate links onto an article on my website. How many is technically considered too many? Don't want Google flagging my website for spam...<

There is no specific number. It all depends on the volume of content. If you have 500 words, i'd say 1 is enough. If you have 3000 words, you can have maybe 20 on the page! I've ranked on page 1 with 20+ affiliate links.

It all depends on competition, quality of content, and other ranking metrics. My advice is to start with as few as possible, and increase if you start converting. That way you can get the OPTIMAL number of links on the page!

I have been going for 3 max on one page. Usually I have a link for where to buy, a link for a call to action, and one more which for me is usually a recommended accessory.

When I did my holiday guide I had 5 links. I wrote a lot of content on the page so I didn't think it was to bad, but I try not to do that often. I mostly do my affiliate links on my reviews and my articles are affiliate link free.

That makes sense, I'll try to stick to around that number. Thanks so much!

I have asked the same in the past and was told 3 so I have been sticking with that. I didn't want to go overboard either! Last thing i want to see as a customer is a page full of highlighted links to go buy something. Just my 2 cents.
