We all have sat down in front of a piece of white paper, and In some occasion, the panic has taken over. We know we have a job, we have to create that piece of content!!

I peruse various news sites daily looking for articles in my niche. Once that activity triggers an idea, I just start typing. Somehow, the words just start flowing then.

Also, I periodically review the old articles that I have posted. Inevitably, new ideas come up and I end up adding new information to the existing articles.

Yes I google, I google my intended keyword/phrase, I google my keyword/phrase in google images, take a lot of notes, and I am right back on track

My big problem is procrastination, I rarely have an issue coming up with anything to write about. Finding time is a whole other matter.

You can use Google Alerts to email you with relative articles online to help give you inspiration. https://www.google.com/alerts

Another really good tool I like to use is http://ubersuggest.org/
Simply type in a keyword and it will give you a list of various keywords and phrases that will give you endless ideas for posts.

I just pretend I've just sat down with a good friend to talk about (fill in the blank). Then I write my conversation down.
This does 3 things:
(1) It gets the creative juices flowing.
(2) It starts things off in an easy, conversational tone.
(3) It breaks through the editor/critic that can stop you before you even start.
Hope this helps!
Michael

I have emails sent to me on a daily basis from google, amazon, home based business and affiliate marketing which helps me get ideas. Then I have to do some research and check keywords.
Once I get going I can't seem to stop writing.
I try so hard to not go over 500 -1000 words and sometimes I find myself going way over 1000 words.
Then I go back through my blog and try to eliminate some things that do not make sense
Hope this helps!
Sheila

you could also (instead of eliminating) try to see if you can separate it into two different posts :)

Hi. I jump into jaaxy, grab a common word for my niche and throw it into alphabet soup. Ideas abound, it never fails.
The best way to break writers block is....write.....anything, gobble-d-gook, spill the beans, vent....just start writing. I speed write too and come back later for editing/ polishing or just file it. Not everything has to be published.
Go really well from Janelle

I will look at competitor's sites and other blogs looking for ideas or things that will trigger ideas. Another thing that I do is to just start writing about something and then try to slide into the topic that you need.

Being a former military musician, I would listen to some of my favorite jazz and concert band music and that tends to clear my head where I can focus. Dave.

Hi. I jump onto jaaxy and pick a word common to my niche and I throw it in the alphabet soup. So many ideas come up, never fails.
The best to shift writers block is ....write! Something, anything, not necessarily sales page, make your self waffle on for 30 minutes.
Go well from Janelle.

I'll cruise a few forums within the niche and look for folks asking questions. If you can discover the "pain" spots for people and deliver a nice tutorial on resolution, you've got a winner!

In general reading, this always helps me.

There is a lot of information about it there and it will take you some time to get through it but, there is a lot of misnomers and myths about use.

San

Thanks for the info San - this is great stuff to have!

E

Yeah, I am going to read it all also.
I thought I had the right information and you made me think about it. I went there and found out I was only partially right. There is a lot to it and we all need to be very careful about what we use and how we use it.

San

Yeah even citing the source doesn't cover us ... And if we benefit in any way or negatively impact the owners possible benefits we could be in deep caca

Well that is not all true either,
if the owner of the media has given it over to public domain by checking off certain boxes within the share mode of YouTube then you can use it commercially if you apply and get a Commons License, I think that is what they called it.
Any way, even that can be revoked if you abuse anything in YouTube, and the owner can get it revoked if he does not like how you have used his product.

San

You're right San - I overlooked that part.

You know what - I'm going to make my own videos instead. If I use any from YouTube I will just point visitors to the video via a link.

There is way way way too much liability with doing it any other way and ... the everyone is 'sue' happy these days - it seems to be the way to get the American dream.

I have all the equipment, knowledge and talent (I think anyway lol) and I copyright my stuff so it's one less headache.

Thanks again San - hey if you find hard proof that protects users (in the respect we are speaking of) let me know. Thanks man!

ROCK ON!
E

Yeah, I am with you on that because there are just to many trust issues using other people's videos LOL
I have great camera and a tripod. Time to learn how to do it myself.

San

I think the same way.
Producing your own content seems the way to go.

Besides, then you can be the one who sues the poor guy didnt read this post and is making 100 grands on his site with your video :P LoL

lol - I didn't think of that.

LOL LOL LOL

just another revenue stream right - lol

Not one I would want to be involved in.

San

lol me either

Ok seems that we have a debate on the work here :)

I have no problem if the video links to the video creator page on youtube.

The main reason I will embed his video in my site, is because I believe it will make my site more appealing, hence visitors will like it more, hence I can improve my monetization.

My big doubt, can I have a complaint from youtube, or the video owner telling me something like "hey dude, you made some money using my video to make you site look good, I want piece of the pie, plus all your belongings" :)

Hope that clarifies my fear a little more :)

Thanks for engaging!!!

You could have that complaint as the video is not "owned" by you.

The laws around this are thick and nearly always the owner wins. And they only come after you if you've made money using their property.

I get permish or skip it.

Yep, if they offer you the share option.

Always nice to give credit to the owner though.

ROCK ON!

Hey guys, I wast just providing comments on other fellow site, one very good actually about running.

And I post this comment:

"Very interesting and compelling review

not sure, the only issue i can see with what you have written is, "I have to admit, that i have some overweight" the word overweight on the end does not make sense, maybe it is because of that.

Yes, you are right. It is not an excuse, but since English in not my mother tongue I tend to make some mistakes from time to time.
I can accept that my comment is penalized for "poor gramatics", but not because lack of uniqueness :)

To be fare mate it was the only reason i could think of, other than that it should have been fine.

Has it worked now ?

Couldnt try again, the site does not appear any more on my "offer comments" streamline :(

Hi, this a SEO question.

I have been following the training by the book. My question is about when we are asked to put the keyword on the title.

In my case, I think

Your post or page title should be the same on the meta file. If a phrase is too long for your title, you should be able to work it in the text of the article. John

Thanks for your response John!

Thanks for the answer catimadison.
You are right, that is my first fear.
I think i will play safe and fill the site with stock images and try to focus on the text content.
But i have mu doubts that if the site is notvattractive image-wise, i wont have many success...

I agree it is hard to have success and keep people interested without images but at the same time take into consideration of the type of audience you are appealing to.

That would be a great idea. I personally think as far and the copyright, it wouldn't be good. They could always come back and say you owe them a commission off of what you made by using them to advertise.
