Becoming Premium or not. Internal Struggles
I have been on Wealthy Affiliate for over 7 days now, and so far, it has been an all-around amazing experience.
Kyle has been awesome about giving me an extended access to new-comer benefits, for which I am very grateful, and I can still get the Premium discount if I upgrade now.
I am meeting new people, learning about them, their interests, their trials and methods on their way to online success and how they got where they currently are. Btw, congrats to everyone who is working at getting to their goal! :)
However, one thing is at the forefront of my mind and that is... going Premium. I do so wish to be able to afford the monthly $47 but right now - and I have weighed this for A LONG WHILE - I think this is not the right move for me. Emphasis on the right now.
I am just starting out on this journey and I believe absolutely that once I start going Premium, it will be worth it a thousandfold.
For the moment though, the $47 dollars a month converts to almost MUR 1800 (my local currency). My budget just can't allow this at the moment...
I know, I can earn my ways online with side jobs and such but living outside US often limits me from doing so and Mturk or other sites like that does not allow me to earn enough to cover this.
I do appreciate so much that Kyle and Carson created this platform to enable us all to interact with each other, provide and receive support from one another but I have read about some of my worst nightmare from other users who, unfortunately went through the experience of not having enough to keep the premium plan and losing access to their Premium features after working on several websites...
Please, please correct me if I am wrong in any of my information. I would love to hear from you all.

P.S: I have also read a TON of successful members who went Premium and never once looked back, so I ask of you to please be considerate in your comments... I'm only sharing my experience and taking it one step at a time... Thank you.

Hey! Glad to have you here regardless if you're a premium or a starter. I was in the same situation as you. All I can say is take care of you first. Wealthy Affiliate will take you a few months before you get going on really starting seeing big results.
Once you have the money to go premium then I would say do it and never look back.
Members have lost their sites, but it's something you will take up with the Support Team and they will help you out. I'm not sure if its a premium member feature, but you can export your site data and save it on your computer. That way if anything does go down, or you lose your site, you will have it backed up and ready to go.
Sorry if this is non sense to you lol, I get to typing and don't stop. Looking forward to seeing you around these parts more!
Yes, it does make sense. Lol, I didnt know that there was an option to keep the website data offline though. Well, that's a great thing to know. And reassuring.

Do what is best for you. Wealthy Affiliate will be here whenever you are ready to go premium.
