A few days ago I started to publish every day on my site some news. As title, I use "Online Marketing News" followed by the date. And as keyword I use the same but without the d

Loes is right, you won't get additional visitors when you repeat the keyword. Christa is also right by suggesting that you use along tail keyword phrase focusing on the primary news for the day.

Thanks Larry. I'm working on it. I need to be more creative with my long tail keywords :)

With a keyword you attrack visitors, the amount doesnot change when you use the same keyword 1, 5, or 100 times. So your visitors will not increase when you use exactly the same phrase.

Yes I was thinking on that. I really need to figure out a way to make it different every day. Thanks Loes!

Is there any way you could long tail the keyword and add a dimension of the news for the day?

Only if I add, for example, something like "Online Marketing News about Facebook and others" and change the "Facebook" part every day...

Well I am not the most experienced, but that would definitely give you more potential for ranking on more pages, which would increase your audience!

Maybe I will do that because like you said it will increase my potential for ranking, but someday I will repeat the keyword again... I simply can't find a good solution... Thanks Christa :)

Hello everyone,

Due to personal issues, for some time now I have not been able to come to WA and also haven't worked on my website.

It was precisely when I was happy

Great information.

Here is what I would do. You need the lessons to gain the knowledge. So have the lessons open on one page and your website on another page flip back and forth to do the lesson. Also you can take a min or two and have word open to write down short blogs on ideas that come up as you do the lessons and work on your site. Sometimes when you do something else you can have the words just flow down the old brain cell like a smooth little creek. So at some point here you will realize you are doing everything you wish with no stress. Ohh i should be doing this or oh i should be doing that. Pshh you do as you do and it will be wonderful. Best of luck to you always.

Thanks Jordie. It's a great idea! Sometimes I have ideas when I'm doing the lessons and I just write down some of the thoughts but I don't write an entire text at that time. Maybe it's better to write everything that it comes to mind in that moments :)

I am trying to apply each lesson to my website as I go through them :) like this I dont forget anything and do both at the same time. Hope this helps :)
Welcome back!

Thanks Diane :)

I think you will need to work on both the lessons and the website, they go hand in hand. You need both.

Yes, you're right. I'll do my best. Thanks!

Really.no one can answer that but you. As long as you are being effective, what is happening currently is not important. Its your goal at the end... And either path will get you there. Sorry, I am currently reading a refresher course on how to think vs what to think. and all of these principles are flowing around in my head. The simplistic answer is to work on your site first and implement what you are lrarning on your site as you learn it.

All of the answers are helping me thinking what is best for my site. It is starting to come clearer that I need to split my time between both because my website needs work, but I need the lessons to help me improve it.
Your course about thinking it sounds great! Thanks for your feedback.

You are much further along than I am. I have only done the first course. The third course looked like it was going to get into the money part so I took a break to try to get some good content going. Without the content, I'm not going to be able to make money so I've been focusing purely on the website for the past few weeks. I'm thinking of starting back up on my lessons soon. Are your websites getting good traffic? Do you have good content? Those are all things to consider when making your decision. It is suppose to be important to try to make regular updates, so maybe do lessons 3 days and content 1 day?

You're right, maybe it's best to do just like you did. Focusing on writing content because my website doesn't have traffic and then, after a few new posts, I will continue my lessons. Thanks!

My first thoughts before I read others here turn out to be the same as Desiverion. Glad to see you back. Best wishes. :)

Thanks Judy :)

Look how your website's health does. If it is good, spend more time on lessons. If not, write more content and engage with customers. Of course, lessons are important. If your website's health not at best, you will be forced go to lessons to find what is wrong.

I completely forgot about my site's health! It says it needs more work because I haven't new content, new feedback and new comments... Thanks for your help :)

You are welcome:)

I would say do both at the same time if you can, since most of the lessons actually involve you working on your website. I would suggest updating anything on your site that needs updating, maybe writing a new blog post or 2, and continuing with the lessons :)

Thanks for your quick answer :) I will follow your advice.

Today I got feedback from 2 people that tried to enter on my website and it gave warnings by Norton.

It retrieves the following message:

Scam Insight: Personal Infor

You MUST make sure you always 'verify' your site if requested/required.....this goes for security software, affiliate memberships, etc.....if this doesn't clear it up, I would certainly contact Norton directly via phone and straighten it out...instead of helping, they are hurting you....

Thanks Rosie, I didn't know that. I'll contact Norton to resolve my issue. Once again, thanks for clarifying my question.

You're welcome; my belief is that if you sign up or pay for something that obligation to 'fix it' is upon them.....

I agree :) they supposedly "has" the obligation to fix their users problems

Go get 'em tiger!

I think that happened to me quite some time ago with one on my sites - if I remember correctly, all I did was go to Norton and "verify" my site.

Thank you so much for your answer Joanne! I'll try that for sure.

Hi Sandra, I didn't get any warning! You have a really nice site. I will revisit soon and leave you a comment! Happy New Year! Christa :)

Hi Christa, thanks for visiting my site and for telling me that. Happy New Year! :)

Happy New Year! :)

Hi Sandra, I just looked at your site and I didn't see any warnings.
Have a Safe and Happy New Year.

Hi Darrell, thanks for checking. Happy New Year.

I hope you can get this cleared up Sandra. I would help if I knew how.
Happy New Year. I hope it's the best for all of us.
Phyllis

Hi Phyllis. When I have an answer I'll post it. Thanks and Happy New Year!

Hi Sandra,
I just tried to go to your site and Norton does have the page that says "Scam Insight... etc." like you said above. I've seen this before on other sites, not always from WA and I just go ahead and go to the site. I didn't think much about it. It will be interesting to find out more. May want to contact Kyle and Carson about it. :)

Hi Judy, Thanks for checking. I'll contact Kyle and Carson and when I have an answer I'll post it.

I wish I had an answer for you, sorry! You might try a PM to either Kyle or Carson or both. I hope you find your answer soon!

It's a good idea. If I don't find an answer soon I'll definitely try that. Thanks Dave!

I have Norton and I didn't see any such warning on your site.

Thanks Steve!
